IT was getting late, but Tom refused to move from his seat. Sebastian and Georgeta had told him to go home, unfortunately it didn't work. He couldn't leave her and that alone only added to his belief that he heartily fell in love with her. Actually the feelings had started long ago, not because she recently almost lost her life to save him – but at that time, he was just afraid to acknowledge those feelings further because he wasn't a big fan of heartbreak. A beeping sound of the heart monitor buzzed throughout the room, seizing the entire serenity as he stared at her with a hopeful gaze. It had been almost four weeks, but the signs she was about to wake up were still unseen.

There were a lot of things he wanted to tell her, starting from Jeremy who had been thinking of plotting a murder for Luke as revenge until Zendaya who thought Tom was the one who made Ivory end up like this. Of course, Tom also wanted to tell her that the police had set Luke up as a suspect since the waiter who served them in the diner finally confessed that she was paid for by Luke, but sadly he had to postpone all of it because even though Ivory's condition had became better, for some unknown reasons, she just didn't want to wake up yet.

"God, I miss you." Tom eventually broke the silence, rubbing circles on her hand. "Why don't you wake up, love? It's so quiet here. . .and scary."

Tom escaped out a light laugh as he drowned deep in thoughts. Part of him tried to convince that everything was all an accident, but the other part of him thought that Zendaya's words were true. The poison was put in the coffee for him, not her. And it led him to conclude that this was his fault – if it weren't for him, Ivory wouldn't end up like this. The thought itself made himself once again doubt whether what he said a few days ago to Harrison was his true feelings or not? If it was true love, he was supposed to be the one who protect herself, not the other way around.

Was he even enough for her?

Tom immediately shook his head and tossed aside those thoughts – he couldn't give up just because of that. Ivory was willing to put her life on the line just for him, the least he could do was to stay by her side and never give up on her. The girl who a few months ago didn't even acknowledge Tom's existence was now the one who took the poison for him – he'd better die if he had to leave the kind of girl like Ivory. Yes, like she wouldn't give up, he wouldn't do that either.

And it made him now certain that she was the one for him. I love you, Clodovea Ivory Frühauf. With that thought passing through his mind, Tom smiled to himself. He couldn't even remember when and how it started, but he knew the feelings was there for her. Somehow he felt a distinctive pride inside him because he finally found someone he wanted to spend the rest of his life together. Even though he still didn't know her feelings, he wouldn't stop loving her.

This kind of love, Tom would give and do anything to keep it alive.
