“God, why don’t you have any food in your house?!” I yell while I rifle through the cabinets in the kitchen, looking for something to eat.

“This is why I wanted to go to your house, Steph!” my best friend, Emily, yells back from her living room.

“Well I thought you had food here, because I don’t have any food at mine!” I scream, walking into her living room and throwing a pillow at her.

I walk out the front door, heading towards my bike.

“Are we going to the grocery store?” she asks me as she gets on to her blue bicycle.

“No duh, Sherlock,” I reply as I roll my eyes. I hop on to my purple bike and pedal to the local grocery store, thankful that I had brought my wallet with me today.

“Okay, you get the soda and I’ll get the candy,” Emily says to me in a serious tone as we walk into the store.

“But I wanted you to push me around on a shopping cart,” I whine, pouting at her.

“Ugh, fine,” she replies as she rolls her eyes. She gets a shopping cart and I jump into it, a wide smile spreading across my face.

“Whee!” I screech gleefully as she runs down the aisles. I close my eyes, enjoying the feeling of the air whooshing through my hair.

“Watch out!” a voice yells. I open my eyes and see two guys rushing towards us rather quickly and I scream bloody murder, thinking that I was going to die. Instead, I just tumble into their cart.

“Sorry about that,” I say to them, not looking at them so they couldn’t see the blush that was creeping up on to my cheeks. I was sitting on something lumpy, and I get up to find a bunch of carrots in their cart. “Um… I’m guessing you like carrots?”

“Love ‘em!” the guy in the cart yells happily.

I chuckle, thinking about Louis from One Direction and how much this guy reminded me of him. I had always had a soft spot for Louis, Emily constantly teasing me about it.

“What’s so funny?” he asks me. I hadn’t even looked up at the guy because I was still blushing. For some reason, Emily is staying unusually quiet.

“Nothing; it’s just that this guy from my favorite band really likes carrots,” I reply.

“He’s your favorite?” he continues.

“Yeah, his name’s Louis, and he’s just the most adorable guy I’ve ever seen.”

“Hey, my name’s Louis!”

At that, I look up and I see none other than Louis Tomlinson from One Direction, Emily and I see her talking to Niall; no wonder I didn’t hear her. “Oh my gosh; you’re Louis Tomlinson.”

“Yep,” he replies with a smile. “And you are?”

“I’m Stephanie,” I stutter out.

“Well Stephanie, would you like to go out with me tonight? I heard there’s a carnival in town tonight and we could go on the bumper carts,” he asks.

“Sure. Yeah, that would be amazing.”

He scribbles his number on my arm and Niall wheels him off, looking back and winking at Emily. “That was the best food shopping trip ever,” Emily sighs.

“Yeah, it was…” I trail off, my mind still on Louis.

“Maybe we should ride in the shopping carts more often, eh?” she asks me, looking at me cheekily.
