Liza's POV

This year is my freshman year. At last, I've finally returned from Texas. I missed it here so much but because my Dad found a better job there when I was in grade 5, so I had to move back to Houston.

Growing up, I had to listen to my parent's arguments all the time. The older I am, the more I know that they were all about ... money. I couldn't do anything. I was a child. It got to a point when my parents both wanted different things in life and decided that it was time to say goodbye. I live with my mom in Los Angeles now. We both think this is a perfect place we call "home".

I was about to go to my locker to get my books for the next period – Chemistry, my favorite. I don't understand why people say it's hard. Ok, I'll admit, I'm a nerd, I like all the subjects. I love going to the library every day and I think I'm the only one there. Besides that, I love acting and dancing. I'm a member of the school's drama club and dance team.

I was walking along the hall when I see my best friend – Gabbie.

"Hey Liza! What's your next class?"

"Chemistry" I reply

"Oh well, guess we'll have to wait until Math class then"

" Yeah. Bye" I wave at her as she enters the room.

Walk pass a few more classes and I'll be there. I said to myself while looking at my school's map. Yes, I've studied in this school for a month now but still cannot remember the rooms. I'm telling you, my school is huge. Anyway, I was looking down, not paying attention at all and.... BOOM! I bumped in somebody. Oh no, this is going to be so embarrassing.

I haven't looked up YET, but I already see a boy's hand reaching out. I take all my confidence and look up...
