First sight - Diza fanfiction

WHO IS THIS?

Liza's POV
We're in our hotel room and I'm standing at the window, looking at the amazing view. Not sure somehow, everything starts to flow back to my mind. The good... and of course, the bad memories.
I went through a lot of horrible stuff in my life, and when David stepped in, he changed everything. He was my light when I was in the dark. He means THE WORLD to me!
I'm staring at nothing when I can feel David slowly walks up behind me. He wraps his arms around my waist and whisper into my ears
"Beautiful view, hah?" He is now standing next to me, one arm is still around me.
"Yeah! Thank you so much for bringing me back here! I love you more than anything"
"I love you too!" He says kisses my cheek.

We're walking on the street, hand in hand, not saying any word. He's just looking around. I know he's used to the crazy life of LA and it's good for both of us to slow down our lives and just enjoy the peaceful moments together. What about me? I'm thinking about... my Dad. It's been over a year since I last met him. I felt guilty for doing that. He didn't do anything wrong to me. I wonder what is he doing now? Who is he with? Is he still living alone?
"Hey! You ok?!" David asks me. Seems like I have kept quiet for too long:
"Yeah I'm fine"
"You hungry?"
"A bit"
"Let's go get something to eat"
I nod and we walk to McDonalds.

We finished our food and was about to walk out the door when we met somebody...

Guess what? I ran into my EX. Richard! We dated for about 4 months until we broke up when I moved to LA. He said it would be hard to "live without me" and a week later I saw him posting photos of him and another girl all over the internet. Anyway,...
I saw him and he saw me. I recognise him immediatly, hoping he doesn't recognise me. That's when I hear someone whispers
"Is that David and Liza?"
Now if you guys don't know, I've "met"some people who don't say hi to you the moment they recognise you but they whisper to the others "Is that Liza from Youtube?" or stuff like that. You get the point. And Yeah, that sucks... especially in this situation. I try to drag David away as quickly as possible and we're half way there to open the door when I hear his voice
"Liza is that you?"
This is so awkward and embarrasing. I cringe and try to escape when he says again
"Liza I know it's you!"
I roll my eyes and sigh. I turn around and walk back to him, trying to be friendly:
"Hi... Richard! Long time no see"
I know David is now standing next to me, being confused more than ever
"Yeah. What brought you back here?"
He's so damn chill. Does he know David and I are dating?
"Oh... I'm... on vacation... with my..."
"Her boyfriend" David finishes my sentence for me.
"I'm David by the way. Nice to meet you" David says and holds his hand out to give Richard a hand-shake.
Richard doesn't move an inch and ignore the hand-shake. Ok rude?!
"Oh...ok" David mumbles and puts his hand back, pretending to scratch the back of his head.
"Ok Richard we gotta go now. It was nice talking to you.See you!" I pull David away and escape
"Ok see you around" I hear his voice behind as we leave
"Woah! Sorry that was..." I say as we're finally out of that place
"It's ok Liza. I understand. Let's forget about that. Now take me to your favourite place in town"
"Sure! I bet you will love it there!"
