David's POV
After walking around town, Liza pulls me into a park. It's 5PM and the sun is slowly coming down. "This is where I filmed recess with Liza"
"I see. This place is so peaceful"
"Come here!" Liza says, holding my hand and pulls me to sit under a tree.
"There used to be a swing here when I was younger" She looks up and points to a branch
"My father and I... used to come her all the time" She stutters.
I wrap my arm around her shoulders as I hear that.
I have never met Liza's dad and she hasn't seen him for a long time. I never want to get too deep into her parents' split because I know it's a sensitive topic. I don't want to ask her if she want to meet her dad, either. Over a year ago, when she came back from visiting Texas, she said when she came over, her father was with another woman. He said she was just a friend. Liza left before that woman, so she couldn't really tell if the lady lived with her father. All I know was Liza was not happy about that. On the other hand, she was glad her father looked happy.
"Do you think I should visit my father?"
The question I have always wanted not to arrive is finally asked.
"I mean... I can go with you if you want. I'm here whenever you need support"
"Thanks babe. I'll think about that"
"We have 2 more days Liza. The sun is already coming down"
"I know..." She says and rest her head on my shoulder.
We sit there for a while and I receive a notification. I don't want to ruin the moment especially when I'm with Liza. I try to keep my phone away anytime so I can spend time with her as much as possible. That's why I missed a lot phone calls and text messages. One time it was from my manager, but he was cool, thank god!
"You should see that. I don't want to be the reason you miss your calls or messages"
I sigh and pull out my phone. This breaks the close distance I was with Liza.
"It's Jake. He says there is a party down town tonight. It's up to you?"

She thinks for a while

"I mean I'm cool with that. We haven't been to any party for a long time. Besides, I forget what partying in Texas feels like!" She says with a cheeky smile.

"Ok well, let's get back to our hotel and get changed" I shrug.

I stand up first and Liza takes my hand. I pull her up and she dusts of her pants. We fold the blanket and I put it back into my backpack.
We drive back to our hotel to get dressed.
"Are you going to drink tonight?" I ask Liza. She turned 21 and I haven't.
"Probably not. You?"
"No. Gonna wait"
"Then I'll wait for you"
