I get in my car and receive a notification: You have a new message in The Vlog Squad. I open it to see:
Zane: See you guys at the party tonight!
I was about to put my phone down to start the car when another notification went off. Ugh, what now? I look at the phone again: You have a new message from David Dobrik. I open it immediately:
David: See you at the party tonight
I smile as I read the text. Should I reply?
Liza: Yah. See you
I put down my phone and drive home. My mom is still at work as always. I open the closet to look for the outfits I bought with Gabbie. It's really hard to choose but I finally picked one. It's a simple black dress so I put on a necklace and black high heel boots. I love it. I finish doing my make up and look at the clock: 5:30.

Although I think my mom still remember about the party and I will get home really late, I leave a note. I drive to Gabbie's place to pick her up. I don't want to be late at my first party. Better hurry up. I'm almost there so I say loudly without touching my phone, which is being charged by the car:
"Hey siri, call Gabbie"
"Calling Gabbie" Siri says in a robotic voice
"Hi Liza. Are you near?"
"Oh hey Gabbie. I'm almost there. Come out to the front door". As soon as I arrive, I see Gabbie standing at the gate. " I roll down the window:
"Yo Gabbs. Are you ready?"
"Pff. Heck yeah. You should ask yourself that, not me"
She gets in the car and sit next to me, looks at me from head to toe:
"Gurl you're smokin' hot"
"Thanks to you. I wouldn't know what to wear if we hadn't gone shopping."
"You're welcome"
"Ok let's go and PARTEYYY"
We arrive at Zane's house and I've already heard the loud music. I'm really nervous. I don't know what am I doing anymore. We walk in and see Zane:
"Hey ladies! Looking really fine tonight aye?!"
Gabbie looks at him and laughs:
"It's only the evening and you're already drunk"
"I don't give a ..."
I giggle as I look at him, bouncing on and off the wall.
"What a dumb guy! I like him"
I widen my eyes:
"GURLLL! Then get him"
"I'll try"
We decided to split and discover the house on our own. I wander around the house and guess who I meet? David, at the kitchen. I walk up to him:
"Hey David"
"Oh hi Liza" The music is so loud we communicate by screaming at each other
"Want a drink or something?" He continues
"Nah. I don't drink, but I'll get some coke"
"Me neither. I'm drinking water"
We both laugh and lock eyes for some seconds.
"Wanna go to the rooftop?" I ask him
"Sure!"
We follow the stairs and get to the roof. It's a beautiful view up here. I just want to run away from all the noise to talk to him more easily
David's POV
Liza asked me to go to the rooftop and of course I said yes. I want to spend time with her more but I'm so shy and because we're always surrounded by our group of friends. The city looks so beautiful up here. We were standing to watch the view when I turned my face to her direction. She's still looking at the sky, not noticing at all. Suddenly, she looks at me. She looks so beautiful, the girl I fell in love with over 6 years ago. I can't believe I got to meet her again. It was a miracle, it's meant to be.
Liza's POV
I was looking at the the sky when I could see David was looking at me at the corner of my eyes. I decided to bravely turn to him
David's POV
"The sky is so beautiful tonight, isn't it?" She says with a smile. I can see her eyes are sparkling, it's reflecting a thousand stars on the night sky. She shyly looks down, trying to avoid too much eye-contact. I gently guide her face to my direction with my hand. I look at her:
"You know what's even more beautiful than the sky?"
She curiously looks at me:
"What?"
"You" I lean in and kiss her. She doesn't hesitate and kisses me back. It all felt right. She's mine. My Liza. We pull out from the kiss and we look at each other once again.
"I love you, Liza. Have I told you that?" I can't believe I've just said that.
"You just did and I love you, too" She's now in my arms and looks up at me. She gives me a quick kiss on a cheek. It melts my heart.
"Will you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes David, and you will be mine"
Liza's POV
We hold hands and walk down the stairs. As we were about to leave the rooftop, I grabbed some pebbles because I want to cherish that moment forever. I will never ever forget today, my first party with the love of my life.
