First sight - Diza fanfiction

EXPLAINATION

Gabbie's POV
Schools finishes and I'm going to Liza's house. I call an Uber and text her I'm on the way:
Gabbie:Hey, are you home? I'm on my way to you
It took a couple of minutes for her to relpy:
Liza: Thank god Gabbie. Why did you call me this morning and didn't say anything?
Gabbie:I'll explain it later
Liza:Ok I'm on my way home from the hospital for a check up. Wait for me if I'm not home yet
Gabbie:Ok
I arrive at Liza's in 15 minutes and ring the door bell:
"I'm coming!"
That's must be Liza. She still sounds a bit sick though.
"Hey Gabbie! Come on in"
I take a look at her. Her mascara is running down her face. Has she been crying?

Liza's POV
Gabbie got in and the first thing she did was to look at me. I was confused at first until I realised I haven't washed my face. Crap! Ok I cried. Why? David cheated on me while I wasn't at school. I can't believe he did that to me. I thought he loved me. Why am I so dumb? I can't hold it back anymore. I see Gabbie's arms are wide open for me so I run in to hug her and just keep sobbing. She holds me tight. It feels so good to have a person you trully trusted like Gabbie. We've been through a lot togther. I cry for a while until she speaks up:
"Liza, honey. Look at me. Just calm down now, ok. Things aren't as horrible as you think"
"What do you mean?" I sob
"Come here and let's sit down first"
We sit down on the sofa in my living room and she starts:
"Liza, it was not his fault..."
"Liar!" I wipe away my tears
"No, Liza. Jessica is a total b**ch. She set it all up to devide you two. She tried to kiss him, but he immediately pulled away. He loves you Liza. He was desperated when he heard you said he cheated on you this morning. He tried to call you by my phone because his has been taken away"
"So it wasn't you this morning?"
"No. It was him. He tried to explain, but thought it was too late"
For the second time I doubt his love for me. I don't know whether to believe it or not. I'm so confused:
"Gabbie, if that's all I need to know then thank you so much for telling me, but you know, give me some time to think and I will talk to him"

Gabbie's POV
I nod. It seems like Liza still doesn't believe it and I understand. It's her first love, and she's still learning. I honestly don't think there's any other guys who is perfect for he more than David. It's just a misunderstand. I hope I've helped.
I look at the clock and realize I need to go home before dinner:
"Hey, Liza. I really need to go now. You coming to school tomorrow?"
Seems like she's a bit lost, busy thinking of something else.
"Hey, Liza!"
"Oh, huh? I'm sorry?" She turns to me
"Are you coming to school tommorow?"
"Uhm, yeah!"
"Well see you. I need to go now, ok?!"
"Ok"
She walks me to the door and open it for me.
"See you Gabbie!" She waves at me
"Yeah bye! Call me whenever you need"
I wave at her and walk home.
