~BEGIN DREAM~

"Mornin' Dale." I smiled as I climbed up to the top of the RV.

"Morning, Michaela." Dale smiled back. "Sleep alright?"

"As alright as I can. Kinda hard when we gotta keep one eye open."

"You know Rick made the right call. He couldn't leave Randall like that."

"I know, but I don't gotta like it."  I grumbled.

"You know you care about what happens to that kid." Dale chuckled. "No matter how hard you try to act."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever."

"You do. You're a good soul, Michaela. I know you've done things in the past, but I honestly believe that you are a good person with a good heart and a good head on their shoulders."

"Thanks, Dale."

"Hey!" I looked over the edge of the RV and looked down at Shane. "Daryl's lookin' for ya, says y'all are supposed to to go huntin'."

"Right. We're huntin' today." I mumbled to myself. "Alright, I'm comin'."  I turned back to Dale and sighed, "Well, duty calls. Maybe you and I can talk after we clean our kill. I feel like we don't hang out that much anymore."

"Yeah, because you spend all your free time with Daryl." Dale smirked.

"He's a good guy, really cool dude. Is it wrong to have friends?"

"Nope. It's a good thing." I smiled and walked over to the ladder. "Make sure to give Daryl a kiss."

"What?" I exclaimed. "WHOA!" I instantly lost my footing and fell over the ledge, landing in Shane's arms.

"Can't stop fallin' for me, can ya?" Shane teased.

"You wish, Walsh."

"Ya know I do." Shane laughed and gently put me down on the ground and walked with me towards the house. "Seriously though, how come you always turn me down?"

"Because I'm not interested." I chuckled. "Look, I know ya feel somethin' towards me, I've known since the day ya hit me." Shane opened his mouth to speak. "I'm not startin' an argument about it, I'm just statin' fact." Shane didn't respond. "I knew you were drunk, but the things ya said, those were real. Plus I always catch ya eye fuckin' me around camp. You're a great guy when you're not bein' an ass, and you're not the ugliest motherfucker I've come across, but I'm just not interested, you're not my type."

"So, What is your type?" Shane asked. "You're a beautiful woman, a lot of men must've been after ya."

"I had people approach me, but I always turned 'em down. Never found my type, always kept to myself."

"So... you're a virgin?"

"By choice, yes. And I don't plan on changin' that anytime soon."

"Ya might wanna change that. We'll eventually have to repopulate the earth."

"Eventually, but not now. Besides, it's not as slim pickin's as everyone thinks. I'm sure I'll find someone who'll change my mind later down the line, but until then, I'm just gonna enjoy life to the fullest and wait for the right one to come to me."

"How will ya know they're the right one though?"

"About damn time."  Daryl grumbled.
