MICHAELA'S POV

"Hey." I gently shook Elijah as he slept in my lap. "Elijah, wake up." Elijah slowly sat up and rubbed his eyes. "We're here."

     "Home?" Elijah asked.

"Our temporary home-away-from-home." MJ climbed out of the car and instantly held up his arms in surrender as two guys aimed their guns at him.

"STOP! I'M FROM THE SANCTUARY!" MJ yelled.

"Simon said a woman!" A man snapped.

     "She's in the truck!"

"Climb on out and keep your hands where I can see them!"

"I gotta help 'er!" MJ slowly walked over to my side of the truck, keeping his hands up until he reached for the door handle. He opened the door and helped Elijah climb down first before taking my hand helping me climb down.

"HOLD YOUR FIRE!" The man shouted. "It's her!" Everyone lowered their guns and we walked towards the fence door. "We had to be sure, everyone's on edge since Alexandria attacked the Sanctuary."

"Ya got a name?" I asked.

     "You're gonna report me?"

"Not in the way you're thinkin'." I smiled.

     "Dean." The man sighed.

"Well, Dean, I'll be sure to have Negan commend ya for your services here. Keepin' guard after an attack like that, some tough shit, dangerous. I mean, we could all be easy targets right now." I scanned the area and sighed. "They already know this is an outpost, make sure the guards are on full alert, ready to kill anythin' that moves." Dean nodded. "Now, where can I find Dillon?" Dean looked over his shoulder and motioned for one of the Saviors to unlock the gate. "MJ, get the truck inside, hide it behind the buildin', I'll take Elijah inside." MJ nodded and walked off to the truck as Elijah took my hand.

     "Michaewa..." Elijah mumbled.

"It's alright." I smiled as I ruffled his hair. "We're safe here." Elijah and I slowly followed Dean inside the outpost and down the dark halls until reaching a room. He gently knocked and a man opened it a few moments later. He stared back at us with his large, brown eyes and smiled.

"You must be Michaela." Dillon looked down at Elijah. "And I don't think I was ever told your name."

     "E-Ewisha" Elijah muttered.

"Well, it's nice to meet you, Elijah." Dillon looked back up at me. "Anyone else?"

"MJ, but he's stashin' the truck right now." I answered.

"Smart." Dillon smiled. "Well, welcome to the Satellite outpost. Would you like a tour?"

"No thanks, I've been here before."

"Right, you were the one who cut off Paula's face." Dillon chuckled. "Weird seeing you on different sides now."

     "Shit happens."

     "Indeed."

"Michaela?" MJ's voice called out from around the corner.

"Down here!" A few moments later, MJ rounded the corner and smiled. "Is it done?"
