7: Dinner Date

BAILEY POV

I closed my textbook and looked at the clock. It is 7:40.  I stretched and shook off the drowsiness that was threatening to overtake me. Meanwhile, Taehyung closed his textbook as well. He eventually did start homework, but he didn't do a lot.

He looked at me and smiled.

"We have twenty minutes." He said. I nodded.

"Let me go to my dorm and change. You can meet me in front of Dormitory C in twenty minutes." I said shyly. He nodded.

"I'll be there." He responded. I blushed as I quickly gathered my belongings and left. My dorm isn't too far from the library, so by the time I got in my dorm, I had 15 minutes to get ready. I rushed into my room and opened the closet door.

I didn't even realize, but Skylar was on her bed, staring at me in surprise.

"Why are you so in a rush?" She asked.

I stopped and turned to look at her with a big grin.

"I'm going on a date!" I said. Her eyebrows shot up.

"No way really?! With who?!" She asked. I continued to search in my closet for clothes to wear.

"Kim Taehyung." I said.

"What?!" She asked. I turned back to her.

"Yeah! He's coming to pick me up in fourteen minutes so can you please help me pick an outfit to wear?!" I asked hurriedly.

"Wait wait I can't believe you're going on a date with Kim Taehyung!" She said.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because... he hasn't had a girlfriend in a while and he never gives the girls that like him the time of day. I thought he didn't want to date and that he wanted to focus in acting. And plus, aren't acting students not allowed to date each other?" She asked. My heart dropped.

"It's not technically dating... it's just going on a date." I said.

Soon, a smile spread on her face and she jumped out of bed.

"He asked you on a dinner date!" She said, suddenly excited. I laughed as she ran over to me and picked out a crop top, skirt, and denim jacket for me to wear. I smiled.

"Perfect." I said. She winked at me and I hugged her, thanking her.

I rushed into the bathroom, changed, brushed my teeth, and touched up my makeup. By the time I was done, I had five minutes to spare.

I walked back out into the living room.

There, Skylar, Jessie, and Suzy were all looking at me.

"A date with Kim Taehyung?!" Jessie squealed. I laughed.

"Yeah..." I said. Suzy was silent. She looked blankly at the floor.

"Are you okay Suzy?" I asked.

"Huh? O-Oh... yeah." She said. "I'm gonna go do some homework." She added as she walked off.

"Is something wrong?" I asked Jessie and Skylar. They shrugged.

"She was fine until a second ago..." Jessie said.

Just then, I got a text from a number I didn't recognize.

I'm here.

That must be Taehyung.

"He's here guys, I'll see you later." I said as I put on my shoes.

"Okay! Be careful! And let me know if anything happens! Don't come home too late!" Skylar yelled out as I walked out the door. I giggled.

"Yes mother!" I said as I went out. I rushed to the entrance and opened the door. When I did, I saw Taehyung standing there, looking at the stars. I smiled and walked up to him.
