JAMIE POV

"Kim Taehyung! Late again! Let's just cut to the scene. You're caught doing something you aren't supposed to be doing. Your reaction is..." The professor said. I almost broke out in laughter, remembering our late night run last night.

Taehyung gave me a glance before suddenly acting scared. With widened eyes and a shocked face, he looked at the professor like a deer in headlights.

I let a giggle slip as I remembered that that was his exact expression when that security guard yelled at us.

"Run... I have to run!" He said as he turned around towards the front door, ready to bolt but before he could—

"Nice try Taehyung. You can have a seat now." She said. Taehyung smiled cheekily as he bowed and sat next to me.

"Hey Bailey." He said. I recovered from my urge to laugh and smiled a wide grin instead.

"Hey Taehyung. Why are you always late?" I asked.

"I'm not always late, I was just tired today from running around last night." He said. He then suddenly touched my knee, shocking me and making me jolt.

He caressed my scrape that was a souvenir from our chase last night.

"Are you okay? You fell pretty badly." He said. I nodded.

"I'm fine. The adrenaline yesterday took away the pain for a while so it didn't hurt that much." I said. He nodded then sat back.

It got silent.

But then, we both started to snicker. The memories from last night were too hard to forget, too hard not to laugh over.

Our snicker turned into a giggle, which turned into a laugh. Our faces turned red as we squirmed in our seats, laughing but trying hard not to make a sound.

It didn't work.

Mrs. Lee turned and glared at us with the most annoyed look.

"Is something funny Mr. Kim and Ms. Park?" She asked. Taehyung and I stopped laughing, though soft chuckles still escaped our lips.

I cleared my throat.

"No ma'am." I said. She raised her eyebrow.

"Then why are you laughing? Are you mocking me?" She asked. I slapped Taehyung's arm to stop him from laughing.

"No ma'am we're sorry." I said.

"This is a college, not a high school. I'm not here to babysit you or give you detention. If you're going to be disruptive, leave. Come back when you're grown up." She said sharply before turning back around and continuing her lecture.

I was red in embarrassment as all eyes were on me and Taehyung. With that, Taehyung and I stopped laughing as we continued to follow the lecture.

"That was too funny." Taehyung said as we walked out of the class.

"I was so embarrassed." I said as I cupped my cheeks, as if they were still red and burning. Taehyung stopped walking, turned to me, and to my surprise put his hands over mine, cupping my face.

"You're so cute when you're embarrassed." He said. I blinked. My heart started to race.

"Uh... t-thanks." I said. He just smiled wider before removing his hands.

"Let's get ice cream." He said. I blinked away the embarrassment.

"What? But I have class in ten minutes." I said.
