Chapter 14: Will you?

Christopher Fernández POV:

After sending Beth and Brandon home, I went off to plan my surprise for Beth. I called Emilia while driving.

Emi:" Hello~ Emi speaking." She said happily.

Me:" Someone is on a good mood today huh?" I smiled.

Emi:"Mmhm. So why did you call?"

Me:" Can you do me a favour?"

Emi:" Depends on what the favour is about."

Emi is more cautious while Beth trust you wholeheartedly. So Emi will say ' depends' while Beth, if she trusts you she would say ' sure'. That's the main reason why she gets hurt easily.

I really wished that I was with Beth during her darkest period of her life. So I've decided from now on I'm going to stay by her side, not leaving her alone again.

Me:"Could you babysit Brandon tonight?" I asked hopefully.

Emi:" Sure I'm free tonight but why? Is it something had happened to Beth? Oh my god-"

Me:" Emi! Relax..okay relax listen to me first. Nothing happened to Beth. I just want to bring her to a surprise that I'm planning now. Oh and I need your opinion too."

Emi:" Opps sorry heh! Go ahead and tell me I could even give you some pointers."

So I told Emi my plan and drove to the destination.

Elizabeth Costa POV:

After we reached home, I made sure Brandon washed his hands and feet then I brought out the present that Chris got him.

" Baby~ do you want to see the present that daddy got you?" I said while recording down his reaction.

I always record down his reactions and special moments. From eating a lemon to his first word. Everything. Main point is so that I could show it to Chris one day. Also to be able to look back at his adorable moments.

Time flies quickly. No actually to be more specific, special moments flies past quickly. But dark times past by torturously slow.

In a blink of an eye Brandon is already 2,NO! wait he's turning 3 in like one week. Oh no.. I wished there's a potion for him to turn into a baby again. Now I have additional things to plan again. One after another.

"Yes! I want to see it now!" He jumped around.

"Okay but what must you say first?" I asked him.

"Pwease mummy."

He loves to act cute by pronouncing his words wrongly. Brandon learn things fast so he speaks a lot too.

"Okie." I brought out the present that I hid behind my back.

"Thank you mummy!" He grabbed it and hugged it then started jumping around with it.

I chuckled.

"Brandon, so later when you are going to see daddy are you going to thank him for the present?" I asked him.

"Yes of course! But can I open it now?" He asked with his eyes sparkling.

" Sure why not?"

" Yay!" Then he started ripping of the wrapping paper.

" Wow it's leggo!" His eyes lit up.

I end the recording after he started playing with the leggo.

~Ting~ my phone sounded after a few seconds.
I looked at my phone and saw Chris message.

Chris: Get ready by 7. I'm fetching you.
