Joseph Smith POV:

"I found the clot," I told Dr Brown.

"Now the most crucial part is to remove the clot without touching the nerve." Dr Brown said as he concentrated.

"Focus. Stay calm at all times." I reminded everyone then I started the procedure to remove the clot. It seems fine for now and I was relieved until blood splattered out hitting my mask.

"Her blood pressure is dropping."

"Find the location of the bleeding. Suction." I said while I focus to find the bleeding. Quickly, I found the bleeding and stopped it.

"Nice save." Dr Brown said and I could hear the smile. I quickly finished everything up and stitched up swiftly. I could feel the amusing stares that I'm getting but I continued to focus on what I'm doing.

"Cut," I said.

"Cut." Dr. Brown repeated and cut the surgical suture.

Once I'm done I walked out of the operating room. I removed the gloves, my surgical gown and mask followed by the hair net. I walked out to the waiting area with sloppy steps while I sigh in relief. Mentally and physically drained to smile. Even though I want to rest so badly but I had to go and check up on Elizabeth every now and then. All I want now is for her to wake up. As the doors opened I was 'welcomed' with worried faces and questions started to queue up waiting for me to answer them.

"It was a successful operation. We managed to remove the clot safely so now we'll have to monitor her and wait for her to regain consciousness." Once I announced, everyone exhaled heavily and thanked me profusely.

"It's my duty," I replied.

"I'm really thankful, Joe. I owe my life to you for saving my daughter." Ella held onto my hands tightly.

"Don't say that. I'm doing what I can do to help and I most definitely want Elizabeth to be well. You should go home and rest well. I'm sure you wouldn't want Elizabeth to see you looking frail. I'm here to check on her so don't worry." I told her.

"Thank you, Joe. I think I better get going first or else I'm afraid she'll see me in this state." Ella patted my hands and left with Edward as she was anticipating for Elizabeth's awakening. I nodded at her then I excused myself from the rest as I had to settle some paperwork. As I was walking to the director's office, I heard mumblings and eyes following me as I walk across the hospital.

"Oh my gosh, he's the legendary surgeon." One of the nurse said.

"It's him?? I thought he'll be an old guy with allegedly more experience." The other nurse said.

As I continued walking, I heard different kinds of chattering. "How is he impressive? Maybe because he has that little looks he's amazing? Talented?" One of the doctors said sourly.

"His looks are just a bonus. He's able to make a risky operation of five percent success rate to a shockingly high success rate. His skills are so fast and precise. It's a dream come true to be able to work with him in the operating theatre."

"If he's so good, why did he disappeared and choose to make a comeback now? How impromptu this comeback is."

I walked up to the doctor and his colleague nudge him to signal him to stop talking. When he turned around he got surprised but covered it up by looking away.

"Dr Will. I see you're a GS am I right? Correct me if I'm wrong." I addressed him after glancing at his name tag.

"Yes, I am a general surgeon."
