Elizabeth Costa POV:

I have eye bags today as I did not have enough sleep last night. Thankfully, there's something called concealer. I was so exhausted that I feel bad to Brandon as last night when I was reading his bedtime story on my bed, I fell asleep. I shouldn't have read it in my bed as it's too comfy that I would just doze off. I'm such a bad mother. I internally groaned as I crouch down on my desk.

"I want the documents about Mr Sittos company and the contract. Bring it to me now."

My head immediately jerk up as I heard Christopher speak through the intercom.

"Coming, sir"

I quickly gather everything and went to his office.

"This is the informations about Mr Sittos company and the contract. Shall I read to you today's schedule?"

"Go ahead."

"You have nothing all the way to 2pm where you'll have video conferences with the franchise headquarters in China and followed up with Italy and London's franchise headquarters. You moved the contract signing with Mr Sittos to tomorrow so you would be free till you end work. At 7pm you have a family dinner. That's all."

"Cancel the family dinner. Tell them I could not make it and send them a bottle of wine from France. You may leave now."

"Noted, sir" I went back to my office to continue with my work.

~ Ring~ my Mother called me.

Me: Hello mum what's wrong? I frowned.

Okay the only reason why I said what's wrong is because unless emergency, my mother would not call me during working hours.

Mum : Beth you have to come to hospital now. Brandon knocked his head and fainted.

Me: What?! I'm coming over right now.

I panicked, I didn't know what to do. ' Breath Beth breathe' I finally got my senses back, I took my bag and went to the boss office.

" Come in"

" What's wro-"

" I need to take urgent leave. Now." I say breathing heavily.

He stood up and took big strides towards me.

" Beth what's wrong. Calm down first " He said as he rubbed my back gently, making me feel calmer.

" I need to go to the hospital."

He loosen his grip and went to take his coat." I'm coming with you."

I couldn't think much, all I thought was to see my baby immediately. After what seems like ages, we have finally reached the hospital. I immediately rush to the reception counter but stopped when I saw dad waiting for me.

" Dad, how is he? Please bring me to him now." I said going to cry.

He looked shock and I knew who he was looking at.

" H-he.. I'll bring you there now" my father stuttered, but he waste no time to bring me there.

In the lift I couldn't think of anything other then my baby, I wasn't even thinking of what will happen if he sees Brand. I can't afford to lose Brandon, he is my life, but most importantly my happiness. Without him, I wouldn't be what I am today..a stronger person. He pulled me from a deep dark hole, a hole that once you fall in it, it just keeps going...a never ending hole. He is my light, he shone in my dark path. Helping me see my path clearly so that I know which is the right path for me. ~Ding~ I rushed out with my Father. I went in the ward and dropped my bag. I took big strides to Brand.
