Cole looked over and his expression changed from a grin to a worried face.
"Where did you get that?" Cole said as he reached to grab the box out of her hands. Ashley quickly pulled away.
"What does Avery mean? What aren't you telling me?"
"It really doesn't matter. I'll just throw it away. Forget about it." Cole said as he again reached for the box.
"Cole. If you don't tell me what this means then i'm leaving." Ashley said as she held the box tightly in her hands.
"Okay fine. But it's not a very quick story." Cle sad walking over to the couch. He took a seat. He began telling her about that night. How his brother went missing, and how Avery went crazy. Last he told her about Avery's mom.
Ashley looked horrified. Cole reached over to comfort her but she pulled away. She sat up and marched over to the table. She grabbed the box viciously and threw it as hard as she could into the trash can. Then she grabbed her stuff, flung the door open and walked home. Cole didn't run after her. He let her go.
