Chapter 1

I wake up in the middle of a field. It is a place that I've never been before. I sit up and look around. Huge walls surround me and a cluster of buildings are to my right. But everywhere around that, there is a huge rainforest. I look to my left and get startled by a boy looking at me. "Whoa, where did you come from?" I ask.

"I'm Ian. Welcome to the Zone, or as we like to call it, Gaea." The boy says.

"Gaea? Zone? What the heck?"

"Look, boy, we are marooned on an island. There's no way to get off."

"Why not? Why can't you just swim?"

"I don't know, probably because this island is in the air. In the clouds."

I stand up and see more people coming towards us. All of them are boys, for some reason. "Why aren't there any girls, Ian?"

"Oh, this is the north side of the island. You see those walls," he points at the huge walls surrounding us, "Those are what seperate us from the crops and the girls. They live on the south side of the island."

"Uh, okay then."

The boys that were walking to us approach. Some of them look at me strangely, like I'm not supposed to be there. But they're right. I'm not. The one at the front of the pack looks like the leader. Blond hair, tall, has blue eyes, and is muscular. He has a scar on his cheek that looks like he had something cut him. Pretty cliche, if you ask me.

"Hey there, Lance." He says.

What the heck? How does he know my name? I haven't even told him, or Ian.

"Hi....?"

"My name's Leo. How're you doing?"

"I don't even know how I got here, so if someone could please explain to me where the hell I am, that would be helpful!"

"Okay then. Come, we'll go to the House and talk."

Whoops, forgot to mention- this will be the only chapter for some time. I'm taking down the other chapters to rewrite 'em. Yeah.... that's all.
