The rain tapped on the window as Nate stretched and yawned. He checked to make sure that nothing had changed overnight and sighed with relief when he saw that his things were still here and Whisper and Jibanyan were still sleeping peacefully. Nate got dressed and found a few Chocobar wrappers and unopened Chocobars scattered on the floor near the two Yo-kai, so Nate picked up the unwrapped Chocobars and put them in the bag.

"Morning, Nate."

"Morning, Nyate."

"Morning, you guys."

The two Yo-kai stretched as Nate put his necklace on. If anyone were to ask, he would just say that he wanted to wear it more, but he was actually too scared to lose it again.

Just thinking about losing it again makes me feel worried.

Nate looked up to see Whisper putting the Chocobar wrappers into the trash can and Nate said to Whisper,

"So, the plan for today is to see Mr. Goodsight and get our Yo-kai Watches back to D rank. Getting our Yo-kai Watches back to A rank is going to take a while..."

Whisper nodded and handed Nate his raincoat from the closet.

"I heard the rain wouldn't last too long, but better safe than sorry."

Nate and Katie looked at the sign on the door of Timer's and More that read,

Be right back!

"And of course there's nothing that tells us where he went to..."

"Should we just do something else and come back later?"

"We might as well. Do you want to go to the Gourd Pond Museum and check out the Old Springdale exhibit they finished putting in?"

"Okay."

They then started walking over to Breezy Hills as the rain started to slow down to a light drizzle. Jibanyan spun his umbrella as he said,

"It's about time, nya!"

"Jibanyan, you've been in the rain before when we fought Slimamander without an umbrella or raingear, so why does the rain bother you now?"

"It wasn't raining very hard on that day, Nyate. Fire Atrributes like me can stand being in the rain if it's light, but not when it's pouring down on us. I'm not too sure about the other Attributes, but I'm just guessing that Lightning Attributes have a similiar problem with rain based on what Komajiro is wearing."

I guess we were too focused on getting our upgrade that we never took the time to notice the precautions our Yo-kai companions made for this weather.

Jibanyan and the Koma Brothers were all wearing specially-made raingear. For Jibanyan and Komasan, their raingear was to keep their fire safe while Komajiro's raingear kept him from accidently shocking people. They all had umbrellas, but Whisper was the only one out of the four Yo-kai that only needed to use an umbrella, although none of them were sure if it was because he was a Drain Attributeor because he was always floating.

"Oh! Here's the museum!"

Sure enough, they were at the front doors of the musuem and they walked inside, dripping from the rain. After they took their raingear off, closed their umbrellas, and put it all in their bag, they walked to the left and saw part of the Old Springdale exhibit. They walked through it, looking at each item in the exhibit as they wondered about life back in the year this exhibit was about.

If I'm correct, our grandparents were about our age during this time. We should pay our grandmothers a visit one of these days and ask them about it.
