"That's a Heckapeño."
They had decided to check out Belly Buster Curry, a new curry restaurant in Downtown Springdale to see if they could find something spicy for Mr. Goodsight and as they looked over the menu, their eyes saw a picture of a pepper that made their eyes water just by looking at it. They asked the girl at the counter what kind of pepper it was and she gave them their answer.
"Heckapeños are one of the spiciest peppers here. Only the brave are daring enough to eat it in any way."
They looked at the picture again and Lucas asked,
"Do you happen to have any in stock? We have a friend who's looking for something new and spicy to try. Kinda grown tired of the same old spice he's surrounded by, you know?"
The girl nodded and handed Lucas a small box with 'Heckapeño' written on it.
"I know how he feels. That's why I started working here. To get a taste of something new. Trust me, one bite and he'll be hooked."
Lucas dug out a few bills out of his pocket and paid for the Heckapeño pepper before thanking her and the group left the restaurant.
"That was surprisingly simple."
Lucas nodded as he said,
"Okay, we just need to get back to the past and deliver this."
"We have to change first, though."
"Not a problem. Just get your 'blend into the past' outfits out of the bag and we can use the blank charms I ordered."
They walked into the alley behind Belly Buster Curry to avoid getting any strange looks from anyone passing by and pulled out their outfits from the bag as Whisper pulled out instructions on how to get the outfits into the charms.
"Put the components of your outfits together, take a charm, and tap the charm against it. If these instructions are correct, that's how it should go."
They did what he said and sure enough, the outfits disappeared into the charms.
"Now squeeze the charms and you'll be in your outfit in a flash."
They squeezed the charms and in a flash of light, they were now dressed in their 'blending in' outfits. They looked down at the charm and saw that their previous outfits were now in the charm.
"You just have to repeat the process to change back into your normal outfits. However, it seems that your Yo-kai Watches and the necklaces from your grandfathers weren't affected by the change."
True to his words, they saw that their Yo-kai Watches and the necklaces were still on their person.
"Huh, I thought it would be easier to hide our identities in the past."
Whisper just sighed, well aware that the threat of Wicked Yo-kai still existed, regardless of where and when they were.
"We'll still have to be on our guard, it seems."
They pocketed the charms and decided to stop wasting time. They attempted to summon Miradox to head back to the past, but the medal was spit out of the Yo-kai Watch when they inserted it.
"Huh...that's weird. Why isn't it working?"
"Let me see Miradox's medal for a minute."
Whisper looked over the medal and reached into Nate's pocket for Jibanyan's medal and compared the two medals for a minute before coming to a conclusion.
"Ah, I think I see the problem. Your model isn't able to read Classic Medals."
"Classic Medals?"
