Later that night, Whisper woke up with a dry throat and mumbled to himself,
"I need a Soul Tea. I'm pretty sure there's some in the bag."
Whisper forced himself up as he floated to the bag and dug around in there until he found a Soul Tea. Not wanting to wake anyone up, he went outside to drink it and he looked at the clear sky and sighed.
It's such a nice night. The stars are a lot more visible here than they are back in Springdale. It really reminds me of my pre-imprisonment days.
Whisper cracked open the can of Soul Tea and slowly drank it as he thought back to earlier, when he had seen someone dart into the surrounding trees.
Who was that, though? Were they looking at me specifically or were they looking at the whole group, but I was the only one that noticed?
As Whisper pondered his question, he finished drinking the Soul Tea and he flew down to the small store, where he put the can into the recycling bin.
Well, since I'm already this far away and I'm not tired yet, I might as well take a stroll.
Whisper floated around Harrisville, stopping at the temple, which was known as the Temple of Virtue, where he saw a familiar nekomata at the temple.
"Shogunyan? Is that you?"
Shogunyan turned to Whisper and smiled.
"Hey, Whisper! I didn't expect to see you here!"
They talked for a bit, explaining what had happened since their last meeting. Shogunyan happened to be in the area because he wanted to figure out the reason for the lack of Yo-kai in Harrisville.
"It reminds me of the good old days when we traveled together and came across so many adventures. Oh, the things we found and the stories you told afterward. Those were the days."
Whisper nodded and asked Shogunyan if he wanted to walk with him for a bit. Shogunyan agreed, having nothing better to do, and they walked and chatted for a bit until they reached the area where Whisper had seen the figure earlier.
"Is there where you saw that figure you were talking about earlier?"
Whisper nodded and Shogunyan said,
"Let's go see if we can find something that can prove that someone was there and if anyone tries to attack us...well, let them try."

They searched the area for a while, but saw nothing that would help ease Whisper's worries.
Great, we searched both the area and the path for good measure and found nothing. What is my life?
Whisper took out his Yo-kai Pad to check the time. It was still late, but it was far too early to expect sunrise to happen.
I should get back to the others. I don't want the others to worry if they find me gone.
"Well, I should be getting back now, Shogunyan."
"Mind if I tag along? If someone is following you, I would prefer that you have someone to help you if things get rough, assuming that you're still trying to get back into fighting form."
Whisper nodded and they went back to the house together with Whisper softly humming an old ballad to himself. When they got close to the house, Whisper suddenly felt a cold hand touch him. Whisper instictively shrieked and closed his eyes as he turned around to whack the person behind him with his paper fan.
"Ow!"
Whisper froze when he recognized the voice and when he opened his eyes, he saw his former master rubbing his head where Whisper had smacked him with the paper fan as Shogunyan stared in shock, putting his sword away.
