The kids looked through the various clothes for the time period they were now in and after selecting the ones that they liked and would hopefully not draw a lot of attention to them, they all went into separate rooms to change into the clothes they picked out wearing so that they could blend in better in this time period while Hovernyan put the other clothes away.

Okay! The clothes fit! We can walk around without too much suspicion!

Now Nate was wearing a red polo shirt and light brown shorts, Katie was wearing a white blouse, which had a small pink bow near the collar, and pink skirt, Lucas was wearing a yellow buttoned shirt and blue shorts, and they all wore black shoes. They all walked out of the rooms they changed in and as they put their original clothes into their bottomless bag, Hovernyan stated,

"Okay, this will work. You three definitely look like you belong in this era."

Hovernyan looked them over for anything else that would draw unnecessary attention to them, but his eyes kept being drawn towards the Yo-kai Watches Nate and Katie were wearing. The designs of the Yo-kai Watches might stick out in this time period, but to the regular humans, there just wasn't anything special about the Yo-kai Watch. It was the Wicked Yo-kai that Hovernyan was worried about.

These Yo-kai Watches were almost lost once and I can't afford to risk losing them again! Dark times are almost upon us and all of the Wicked Yo-kai are no doubt going to be extremely vigilant in finding the Yo-kai Watches and anyone with connections to them! Who knows what will happen if the Wicked Yo-kai manage to get their hands on the Yo-kai Watch?!

Multiple horrifying scenarios ran through Hovernyan's mind until he remembered why he was doing all of this.

Now is not the time to be thinking about any of that. Nathaniel and Kenny need help and since there aren't any other children that have some sort of connections to Yo-kai in Harrisville or Springdale during this time period, Nyada and I had to resort to getting help from the future and thankfully, Nathaniel and Kenny's grandkids happened to be who we were looking for. It was just pure luck that we also got a descendent of the Great Lord Enma himself along on this mission.

Hovernyan looked out the window and seeing that no one except the four Yo-kai were outside, he said to the kids,

"Let's go see the others and we'll discuss our next move from here."

The kids walked out of the house to talk to their Yo-kai friends and as they were discussing what to do next, the Yo-kai stopped talking and stared at something near the walkway, but when Nate and Katie turned in that direction, they didn't see anything.

"Wait...what are you guys looking at?"

Lucas looked at Nate and Katie with a confused look and whispered to them,

"Umm...are you two serious? There's a very creepy Yo-kai right there!"

Nate and Katie shined their Yo-kai Watches in that direction, but nothing appeared and whispered back,

"We're not picking up anything!"

"Oh....right. Your Yo-kai Watches don't have that feature..."

"Hovernyan, what feature are you talking about...?"

"The ability to see weaker Wicked Yo-kai."

There's a Wicked Yo-kai out here?!

"It looks purplish black, kinda eel-like, and I think it has small arms. I can't tell from here and I really don't want to get a closer look at it anytime soon!"

It made sense that Lucas could see the Wicked Yo-kai since he was a Yo-kai in human form, but it was still very troublesome for Nate and Katie to not be able to see the weaker Wicked Yo-kai.
