Chapter 9

Peyton POV

I ran away from the hospital, I ran away from Dylan, I ran away from everyone. I ran so far that I had to shift into my wolf because my legs just started to ache. As I shifted I jumped into the sky ripping my clothes in the middle of my shift and landed on all four legs. The forest felt so foreign yet so familiar to me.  My wolf senses were on alert automatically. 

"Wolf what's your name?" I asked in my head. "Sel" my wolf responded. "Do you remember anything from our memory" I thought. "Actually I do, as your wolf it is my duty to remember, we are one it was your part of the brain that got damaged, the doctor was just too stupid to understand and she claims she's a doctor. Doctor my ass". I couldn't help but laugh in my mind. "Sel if you remember can you tell me the important parts of my memory" I had asked her through mind link. "Of course but I have to warn you, your head will undergo a severe headache, afterwards since your part of the brain will be forced to recall these memories" was her reply. "It's okay I just really want to know please tell me Sel". "Well first your full name is Peyton Lauren Royale, you're the alpha kings beta's eldest daughter and, you have one twin sister whom you have already met". "Vivian she's my sister?" I questioned. Sel chuckled in my mind "yes Peyton Vivian is your twin and your only sibling". "Thank you now continue". "Alright anyway you are actually well loved around school, um you hate Amber/Amanda because one she's a slut and everyone hates her, number two she's with Dylan and you and I both can not stand that, and lastly she is a bitch who can not keep her hands to herself.

 I know what your thinking who's Dylan to you and why you feel the way you do and blah blah right?" she asked me. "Yeah" I sheepishly replied. "Well Peyton brace yourself its because he's your.... she paused... your ma- mate, meaning your one true love and your other half" "Then why doesn't he love us back and I certainly do not love him, I hate him". I sternly told her. "Peyton you and I both know that, that is utter rubbish you love him and you know it". "It doesn't matter".  Lets continue with our run, then I turned off the mind link.

I came back from my run and I think it actually helped my health, I feel a lot better. Before I walked back I made sure to stop by a tree to get some clothes to shift back into. I am certainly not putting my goodies out for the world to see. I was now wearing a pair of yoga shorts and a over sized hoodie that almost covered the shorts. I found a packet of new panties in a bag with the tag still on them there was a variety of sizes and a pair of un-used bras from Victoria Secret. So I grabbed some and put them on before I changed into the clothes, I was bare foot at the moment,  so what at least I had on some clothes. When I was walking I let my wolf senses guide me back. When I did, I landed myself in front of a huge mansion with other wolves walking in and out of the entrance there were wolf guards everywhere. I followed a group of girls into the mansion where I sniffed a familiar scent. I followed it trying to find the source, I made my way up the huge flight of stairs to a bedroom. 

Everyone in the mansion was wearing formal clothing and masks there was loud music blaring downstairs's and waiters catering the guests as they made their way around the adults, children, teens... i'm guessing pack members. Anyway I was now standing outside a door with numerous "get out" signs plastered on the door frame.I knocked softly but to no avail even with werewolf hearing you wouldn't be able to hear it over the music blasting. I was on the highest floor yet I could still hear the music clearly and loud. I decided to open the door slowly when I opened the door I could hear shuffling noises coming from within. I closed the door behind me as I stepped in. Man this room was huge all the way at the back of the room were french doors that led to a huge balcony, but had silk black and silver curtains hung on the windows beside the doors. The door it self had drapes as well that seemed to come downwards. There was a huge glass working desk to the side with a bunch of documents, a printer, filing cabinet below, and a mac and a macbook pro on top. With a Italian leathered black wheelie chair pushed in. There was a big leather L-shaped sectional with a recliner in a section that seemed to be a lounging area. A huge plasma t.v hung on the wall with glass shelves on both sides that seemed to hold a bunch of gaming systems (PS3, X-Box, Wii...) and a blue ray player, an apple t.v. There was a cabinet below the t.v that looked like it held games, controllers and different movies. There was a small bar with a few bar stools. The walls were black, the floors were hardwood. Speakers hung from the wall where the t.v was located. I saw a pool table in the center of the room. Oh yeah there was a glass table in front of the sofa. A bookshelf pot lights on the ceiling and a huge crystal chandelier in the center of the room. This was a man cave no question. The walls also had posters of basketball players, soccer players... and a bunch of signed autographs by famous people on one of the walls. There were two doors on the left side and one on the right. On left side the first door had a narrow hallway with two fricken room sized closets on each side. The other door led to a bathroom that had a jet tub, large self heating two person glass shower with a rain head shower head and a bench for you to sit on and a compartment to place your phone in to listen to music.  A sky light was on the top of the shower. A huge mirror and his and her sinks, the washroom was all modern, magazine type washroom with glitz, glam and modern technology integrated into the appliances, all top notch. There was another door in the washroom that led to a toilet area I guess there was a guy toilet. "Disgusting" I thought but also I guess a girl toilet and a huge t.v hung on the wall. I was speechless. When I walked outside of the washroom and to the last door in the room on the right side. It lead to another huge room that had a sofa, t.v, book shelves full of novels, large king sized canopy bed in the far end of the room, chandelier, bedside tables, lamps another door to the balcony, posters a huge vanity area for i'm  guessing a woman. There was a bunch more stuff but I feel like I already explained to much.
