The worst part about being out, is the fact I have 0 clue on what Laura looks like. She says I've seen her before, maybe so. But I sometimes occasionally have a bad memory.
But I shove those thoughts aside and just go about the shop looking for bread, some juice and some meat. But since I just got paid I thought I'd treat myself a little bit.
So I got to one of the good aisles and pick up some pancake mix, a chocolate flake cake for myself. And some Doritos.
"Excuse me?" I turn my right to see a small petite brunette girl, reaching to the top shelf for pickles. She can't seem to reach but she's looking at me shyly with a smile.
"Any chance of a little assistance, I could use your height for this little mission" I laugh lightly from her humour. I walk 2 steps in her direction and reach up to the pickles and hand them to her, she just stares me in the eyes and nods gently.
"There ya go, you needing help with anything else?" She taps her chin with her fore finger, like she's thinking and smiles slightly.
"You could maybe help me reach the rest of my groceries if your not too busy?" I shake my head and extend my arm away from me gesturing for her to lead the way.
"My names Ross by the way" she giggles slightly.
"Laura Marano, nice to meet you" I freeze, I know there's a lot of Laura's out there but something deep down in my stomach told me differently.
