Alexis's POV
It must have been nothing. No wait, ugh damn it I still don't get it.
Okay wait calm down and just assume that that was what he does to everyone. I mean I was apologizing to him just now. Maybe that was his meaning of 'it's ok?'.
Okay good.
Then, the bell rang, driving me out of my thoughts.
"Okay bye class have a nice day," the annoying teacher finally stopped his blabbering and left. Benjamin and I proceeded to our seats. Crap. I don't want any awkward silences. We sat down and then Benjamin started complaining about the teacher.
"What kind of stupid teacher does this kind of crap..." he stopped before saying, "Alex, you okay?" His voice was laced with concern as I snapped out of my thoughts. "What?" I blinked. Benjamin's initial caring eyes showed a glint of amusement. "You should have looked at your face," he smiled.
"Oh, shut up." I muttered.
Guess that everything was fine now.
