Benjamin's POV

Wow the meet-up was so sudden. I hope nothing screws up. As in, he doesn't come home...

Alexis's POV

Ahh slept like a princess yesterday. (not really since half of my stomach was inconveniently exposed) Anyway I had to get ready to go to Benjamin's house for study. All through my growing-up years, I have went to many houses. In a group, alone, to my bestie's homes blah blah, but never alone to a boy's house. So please excuse me for my nervousness. Not like I like him...but I just don't want to have bad memories over this.

I grabbed a watermelon-pattern shirt, it's a simple desigh but I love it. I then put on my makeup, which consists of concealer for my eyebags (ugh), and that's all. Short and sweet.

Taking my sling bag along, I went downstairs and ate my breakfast. Luckily, Mum didn't suspect anything. Woo-hoo. I then went out of the house and went in the direction of Benjamin's house. He lives quite near me, and we planned to meet in afternoon....and I'm 10 minutes early. Ugh.

Okay first, which house is it? It should be that one...

Okay, deep breath. 1, 2, 3. Ding-dong.

Breathe in, out, In, out-

"Hey Alex! Long time no see!" Once I heard thart familiar voice and that name, my nervousness slipped away unknowingly. Instead, my genius mind was thinking on a way to counter back.

"Uh huh? Hey doggie! Haven't seen you for a long time too!" I reached out my hand and tiptoed before I managed to pat his head. He had suprisingly soft hair.

Scowling, he ushered me in by giving me a small push on the shoulder. "Welcome to my doghouse then, it sucks, I know" he replied.

I looked around, adjusting to my surroundings. Hmm. The house had a modern setting, beige coloured walls, some white, a wooden coffee table, nice soft carpeted floor, plants here and there and an awesomely huge TV in front of a L-shaped leather sofa. Comfy.

"Oh don't say that, it's nice!" I smiled. "Now, can I make myself comfortable?" I landed on the sofa, placed my sling bag next to me and smiled.

"Hey thanks. This house is too mainstream though." he replied, rubbing his neck. In fact, I think he blushed a little.

"Hey. Are your parents at work or something? Why is it only you here?" I asked casually. To my surprise, Ben's eyes darkened and replied coldly,"Who gives a shit about them." I was taken aback by his abrupt reply. Turns out he didn't really like them. Oh no oh no now there is an awkward silence.

"Um, so let's get started..."

Luckily, he broke the silence. I nodded cautiously, glancing at him and realizing that his eyes weren't as dark. I gave a smile as I took my materials from my sling bag.

It has been a few hours, and we have done nothing much. Other than writing our names on that worksheet. Turns out Benjamin really had a great sense of humour, and I couldn't really help but laugh.

"So.... Looks like I have to come back eh? I have to be home at around dinnertime...." I stated as I looked at the uncompleted mess. "Ooh, look who like my company." Benjamin said in a mockingly joyful tone and slung his arm casually on my shoulders before taking it back seconds later and stacking the homework. I could smell mint.

Handing the stack to me, he motioned me to begin. "Okay, so...."

I actually discovered a lot about him.

"Seriously you like gardening?" I was laughing my tears out when he said it. "Hey!" He huffed,"I have a sensitive side too!" Then, he faked a sad face. Well yeah. "But still, define exercise," I continued to see him raising his eyebrows in a naughty boy way. "Oh god you mean......." I blurted, only to have his hand covering my mouth.

He starting coming towards me, closer, closer and closer. All I could feel was the warmth of his hand on my mouth. What was he trying to do?

He slowly creeped up beside me, hand still covering my mouth.

Then, he whispered,"Am I really that naughty to you?" His breath tickled my ear and I was like, so shocked I couldn't reply.

Then, like as if nothing's happened, he proceeded to sit back on his chair, leaving me shocked. Like totally.

When I finally regained my composure, I answered,"Yeah."

The tingles that were running through me were still there.

-----

I was in my room. It's nighttime, and I was about to sleep. I emptied the contents of my bag and memories of the afternoon came rushing back. I really discovered a lot about Benjamin. Like how humourous he actually is, how great a friend he would make, how sensitive he is about his parents and lastly, how he managed to just freeze me. And make me lose the ability to move.
