Alexis's POV

It has been 2 days since the day I last saw Benjamin. Him. Whenever I think of him, which is very often, the memories of our closeness play again and again in my mind and I don't get tired of it, which was just odd.

I scrolled through my messages on my phone, my gaze probably lingering a bit too long on the conversation with Benjamin.

Should I start a conversation with him or something?

Me: Hi, are u ok?

Shit this. I should’ve just ignored him or something. But still, I can’t help feeling concerned. Then, while I was just thinkin? my phone vibrated. Someone had sent me a message.

Frantically, I pounced on my phone, checking that message.

Pfft, it wasn’t from him. Instead it was from Jasmine.

Jasmine: Heyyyy want to come to my house today? Cheryl is finally free today~

Me: Sure! Wait till I get ready! ;)

I sure haven’t seen them for quite a while. Pulling over some random white top and shorts, I rushed out of the house, climbing into my worn out white converse, then brisk walked in the direction of Jasmine’s house. Along the way, I longed for my phone to just vibrate or something. I must admit, I’m really concerned for him. In a friend-friend way, I suppose?

“Hi Jasmine!?I waved at particularly no one as I stood outside the door, shouting. Moments later, Jasmine entered, a huge smile on her face.

“Welcome,?she welcomed me in a British accent that I couldn’t help smiling to. Afterwards, after greeting Jasmine’s mum politely of course, we ran up to her room giggling like girls on their first sleepover or something. I saw Cheryl in the room, eyes glued on her phone screen, texting. Probably texting John.

“Uh hum.?I half-shouted, almost causing Cheryl to drop her phone.

“Hey!?she said with annoyance as she tried to brush away my hands that were attempting to grab her phone. “I need to text John goodbye first, okay??lt;/p>

So I was right.

“How much time do you spend with him everyday even??lt;/p>

“Hey! He’s my bf, so why not??Cheryl said defensively.

“No wonder you were so busy for the past week. Going on dates with your bf. Are we that unimportant now??I demanded.

She grinned sheepishly before I lightly hit her at her back. “Never mind, I forgive you,?I said.

Cheryl then went on telling me about her past week. God, it was so romantic. Having a picnic, going for ice skating, tennis and eating lunch almost everyday. Damn her.
