Chapter 12

It had been days since Damon and Elena were gone, Tory and Stefan often went to the Gilbert house, making sure that Jeremy and Jenna were safe. Katherine did a great job acting as Elena when Klaus was around, but that will not hold him for long.

Tory was told that Bonnie and Caroline will be showing up in their house about two in the afternoon, which they did. They were trying to figure out the next step to kill Klaus, which sound pretty ridiculous, because they can't actually kill an original. Stefan and Katherine went out to buy some food for them to eat.

As three of them were discussing, suddenly, someone knocked the door, and that person wasn't invited. Tory went and opened the door and the other two stayed at their seats, waiting for the person to reveal him or herself.

As Tory opened the door, her eyes widened, like two huge buttons. A huge smile was shown on her face. She was full of excitement.

"Amanda!" Tory said in a loud suprising tone.

"Suprise!" Amanda sang in a high opera voice. She opened her arms, asking for a hug.

Tory hugged her and both of them jumped around in circles, and after a few seconds they finally let go.

"What are you doing here?" Tory asked as she led Amanda into the house.

Amanda had fizzy orange hair which matches her greenish-blue eyes and freckles on both of her cheeks and across her nose. She was around Tory's height and had a slim body. She was wearing a long sleeved checkered shirt and black leggings. She was just carrying a hand bag, no luggages.

"Just stopping by, visitng my best friend, " she said casually. "I didn't know that you had guests. "

"Well, now you know," Tory turned to Bonnie and Caroline who froze in their seat, completely lost. "Guys, this is Amanda Foster. She's just my friend."

"Just friend? " Amanda said, pretended to feel hurt.

"Best friend,' Tory quickly added. Then, she turned back to Amanda. "Anyways, we've been figuring out how to kill an original vampire."

"Original vampire? Who? Klaus? " Amanda asked.

"Yeah, Klaus."

"That guy? " Amnada laughed, thinking that it was some kind of joke. "Good luck with that."

"Amanda, I'm serious," Tory said firmly.

"You are? Gosh, what have gotten into your minds? " She headed towards one of the couches and plopped herself onto it. "Do you guys actually think that you could do that?"

Bonnie immediately spoke, "We just need to find a way. There must be a spell to do this, if only I could ---"

"You're a witch, how wonderful. You must be Bonnie Bennett, " Amanda interrupted.

"Hold up, how did you know Bonnie? " Caroline asked, looking even more confused.

"Because she's wearing her name?" She pointed to Bonnie's necklace which was written 'Bonnie', "and I knew her grandmother. "

"Grams? She never mentioned anything about you, " Bonnie said.

"She didn't? How disappointing, " Amanda pouted her lips, "I was one of her vampire friends."

At that time Tory came and sat opposite Amanda,beside Bonnie and Caroline, "I guess you aren't a friend of Sheila after all." (Sheila was Bonnie's grandmother, but she died way before Tory return to Mystic Falls.)

"Shut up," Amanda said and rolled her eyes.

"So, Amanda. Is there any way that you could think of that could kill an original vampire? " Tory asked.

"Well--" before Amanda could continue talking nonsense, Stefan suddenly barged into the house and came towards his little sister.

"I need to talk to you. " he said in a low voice, and saw Amanda. "Hi, Amanda. Long time no see, ' he said in a cheerful voice. "Now." he said, back to Tory with his low voice again, making it sound urgent.

"I'll be back," Tory followed Stefan and went out of the house so no one could hear them. Well, except for Caroline and Amanda, but they were probably talking about Klaus and maybe Sheila.

"What is it?" Tory asked, something isn't right, the look on Stefan 's face was different compared to the look before he went out. He looked worried and a mix of anger.

"Katherine's gone."
