''Um well just please don't hate me this'' I felt nervously. ''You're not pregnant please god don't be pregnant'' I asked.
''No'' she shook her head rapidly I let out a sigh of relief. ''Em Last night well me and Harvey well like we are teenagers and it was a moment thing we eh'' she squeezed her eyes shut.
''Had sex'' I winched as I said it she nodded looking at the ground.
Fuck my 16 year old son is having sex, I need to sit down.
''Ok'' I said nodded and she sat in front of me. ''We were safe and I took the morning after pill just in case but I don't have any one to go to and talk about them things and I know he is your son and it's awkward but'' she said shaking her head standing up.
''Kelly love it's ok you can talk to me, I'm not mad at you I've been there myself, I was actually younger than you, I was 16, was last night your first'' I asked her.
''Yeah for both of us'' she said, well that's a relief; least I don't have grandkids I don't know about.
''Are you hurting'' she groaned I laughed. ''I care about you Kelly and not just because you are my son's girlfriend I don't want you to have a baby while you still are in school, so you can talk to me I won't judge'' I said.
''I was hurting this morning but he gave me a pain killer so I'm ok now'' I nodded. ''Have you ever thought about birth control'' I asked.
''That's why I needed to talk to you, I want to go on birth control, I don't want babies for a long time and knowing my luck I'll fall pregnant now and not have anyone'' I moved and sat beside her.
''If you did have a baby now you wouldn't be alone because we are always here, but birth control is very good what have you been thinking about'' I asked her.
''The IUD'' she said I nodded. ''Good choice, that is for 5 years so you will be a young women if you get caught afterwards'' she nodded.
''Right I can make an appointment for the doctors but until then don't have sex, it takes one times'' she nodded letting out a breath.
''Thanks for this Ronnie'' she said I smiled and hugged her. ''Any time darling, you ever need to talk don't hesitate I'm not always as hard on as Bradley makes me out to be'' she laughed as we walked into the house.
''You're pretty cool for an old women'' she winked and slapped her arm laughing. ''Hey you cheeky git'' she laughed and kissed my cheek.
''Goodnight'' she said I smiled. ''Night darling'' I said as she walked out of the kitchen and I put the sun bed cushion over the kitchen chair and I locked the back door and I made sure the house was locked up and I headed up to the bedroom to Bradley was watching telly in bed.
''What you watching'' I asked form the bathroom sink doing my teeth. ''The fighter'' he said back I washed my face and put night cream on and walked back out to the room closing the door after me and I said on top of the covers.
''Oh my god the twins are still down stairs'' I said getting up out of the bed. ''Jesus I'm a terrible mother'' I shook my head.
''No you're not mom'' Harvey said closing the door of the guest room Kelly was in. ''You ok son'' I asked he nodded.
''So you both talked'' he rubbed the back of his neck and I nodded. ''I know your dad takes the piss out of a lot of things but he is there for you to talk to, he doesn't make awkward, your dad goes on like a big brother to you boys, if you ever need to talk about anything go to him, he can make you see sense'' I said he nodded.
