1967. London, England.

The Monkees were in Great Britain as a part of their European tour. They were excited to travel there because they wanted to see their friends again. They knew The Beatles were busy in the recording studio since they decided to stop touring the year prior, but they thought it would be nice to drop by as a surprise.

The night before their show, they traveled to Abbey Road Studios. They entered to find The Beatles hard at work on their upcoming album, Sgt. Pepper's Lonley Hearts Club Band.

"Hey guys!" shouted Peter.

"Hey! Monkees!" yelled John with a smile on his face. The two bands hugged each other.

They caught up with each other, and The Monkees admitted that their show wasn't doing too well, and they were thinking about firing their manager, since they still weren't allowed a voice on any songs or material that was produced.

"Woah, that's a bold move," stated Paul. "What are you going to do after you fire your manager?"

"Well you guys seem to be doing fine without yours," replied Mike.

The Beatles felt a little hurt. Their manager, Brian Epstein, just recently passed due to an accidental overdose along with alcohol poisoning.

"How dare you compare what happened to Brian with your crappy management!" John snapped.

"I'm sorry," Mike slightly backed away. "But it is kind of similar. I mean, you guys don't have a manager, and y'all are doing just fine. I strongly believe that we will be able to do just as fine without a manager as well."

"You son of a bitch," John mumbled as he stormed towards Mike, ready to punch him straight in the face.

Paul, George, and Ringo pulled their bandmate back and repeatedly told him to calm down.

"He didn't mean it like that," Micky stood up for Mike. "We just meant that we are confident in the decision to fire our manager. We think it'll work out for the best."

"We're really sorry about what happened to Brian. Really," assured Davy. "We are just inspired with your success and ability to bounce back after such a terrible loss."

"I'm sick of you guys thinking you're just like us!" yelled John. "You think that just because the media sees you as a 'younger version' of us, that you can copy everything we do! That's absurd! You are nothing like us!"

Paul tried to calm his friend down again.

"Maybe it's best if you just left us alone for a bit," he suggested. "We're still trying to recover from the loss of Brian, and we just weren't expecting company today."

The Monkees nodded and as they were leaving, Davy added,

"We're really sorry again. We wish you the best."

Paul nodded, and Davy slightly smiled back and left the studio.
