Davy and Peter ran to the office and popped open a phonebook.
They scanned through the names and found George.
"Hey, there's two George Harrison's here," Davy pointed out.
"Maybe one of them is you," Peter suggested.
"So then the other one must be the real George!" Davy exclaimed. He immediately called the number.
"Hello?" George answered.
"George!" Davy excitedly shouted. "It's Davy!"
"Davy?" George asked, confused. "Sorry, I don't know any Davy. You might be trying to reach the other George Harrison. You know, the popular one." Then he hung up.
Davy was disappointed.
"I think you came on a little too strong buddy," Peter joked. "Let me try."
Next in the phonebook, they found John.
"Yeah?" John answered.
"Is this John Lennon?" Peter asked.
"Yeah, who wants to know?" he asked.
"Uh, I'm a telemarketer," Peter answered.
"Yeah right," John scoffed. "Look, I don't know who you are or how you got my number, but you better leave me the hell alone!" He hung up.
"Well, it's nice to see that John hasn't changed," Peter chuckled.
"Really, a telemarketer?" Davy judged.
"Well sorry I'm not an expert on telling people that we time-traveled and stole their lives," Peter mocked.
"What if Mike and Micky are right and they don't believe us?" Davy wondered.
"Don't listen to them," Peter insisted. "They will believe us. They have to."
Next up on the call list was Paul.
"Paul here," greeted Paul.
"This is Davy Jones from a band called The Monkees. This is going to sound very stange, but you've got to listen to me. We time-traveled and accidentally stole the life you were supossed to have. We need your help to get things back to normal," Davy explained.
Nothing but silence on the other end.
"I think he hung up," Davy said.
"We still have one more person," Peter optimistically said.
"How are we ever going to convince him that we're not crazy?" Davy questioned.
"Don't worry," Peter smirked. "I have a plan."
They called Ringo, or since he still went by his real name, Richard Starkey.
"Hello?" Richard answered.
"Yes, is this Richard Starkey?" Peter asked.
"Yes, may I ask who's calling?"
"Why, this is the one and only Paul McCartney from The Beatles!"
"Wow! Really? Gosh! What on earth are you doing calling me?" Richard asked, clearly ecstatic.
"Well I am here with Mr. Geroge Harrison himself! Say 'hi' George," Peter said as he put the phone up against Davy's ear.
"Uh, hello," he awkwardly said.
Peter continued, "And we have picked you and three other lucky people, to be apart of a new band that we are willing to help manage and produce!"
"Wow, that is so cool! Who are the other people?"
"Well, you will find out when we all meet up! Where are you located?"
"Liverpool!" Richard answered. "There's a small park that'll be perfect to meet at!"
"Great! How about we meet up today at around 3:00pm?"
"Sounds perfect! See you then!"
"Looking forward to it!" Peter hung up.
"We did it!" Davy exclaimed. "Now we just have to call the others back and tell them the same thing!"
That's exactly what they did, and after they got all four members to agree, Peter said,
"Now let's go fix what we messed up."
