A blindfolded suprise

Hello, sorry for not updating in awhile,
I've just had a lot on my plate but here is the next one shot. Late or not it's still here. The one shot isn't set on a episode, it is sort of based after HTTYD 2. There's not much Hiccstrid but there is still some. So bare with me, up aheads a bumpy ride.

Hiccups POV

Ah Berk. The place that feels like home no matter what happens. It's crazy that I think that 7 years ago, I wanted to leave just because I was chosen to kill the Monsterous Nightmare. But Astrid found me and we changed, Berk changed. Now the gang and I are nearly 22 and boy have we changed since we were 15.

Gobbers POV

"And I've got me axe and I've got me mace. I love me wife, with the ugly face. I'm a-"! I stopped pounding the sword I was working on and stopped singing. For  some reason I just felt like I was being watched." Nice song Gobber".
Ahh. Hiccup.

"Hiccup, what brings ye here chief at this hour?". I ask already knowing the answer." Did you forget, we are meant to be talking about the improvements on the village. Remember!"." How many times do I have to tell you Hiccup, I don't work on days that are special to me. Or the days that are either side of it". I said starting to pick up my voice.

"What." He said looking very confused." Tomorrow is one of those days. It's important that you rest". I said expressing how I felt.

Astrid and I have been planning something for weeks now and he needs rest.

"Hiccup, I want you to go home and get some rest. Please?"." Fine". Hiccup stated and went home. That boy needs a calendar.

Time skip

Hiccups POV

BANG. BANG. BANG.
"Urg. What does it take to get a decent sleep around here?". I asked my self not knowing that I said it out loud." Not much!". Astrid said with a bit of a giggle." Ahh, how did I not notice you standing there?". I asked trying to calm my heart beat down." Come on, we are going places today".

After about 10 minuets, Astrid and I were up in the air flying towards the cove." So Astrid, what are we doing here?". I yelled." You'll see."

We landed about 10 metres away from the edge of the cove and the next thing I knew was everything went black- well not entirely.

Astrid's POV

I put a blindfold over hiccups eyes and said"Don't be alarmed but we are going to be flying blindfolded. Good luck!"." WHAT!". He screamed." Hiccup, just follow the sound of my voice.

After about 20 minuets of Hiccup complaining, we finally made it into the cove. I carefully led the still blindfolded Hiccup towards the lake edge. I then removed the blindfold.

Hiccups POV

As I opened my eyes and looked around me, I heard Astrid scream-" HAPPY BIRTHDAY!".

"You did all this.". With shock on my face I managed to spit that out.

We were sitting on top of beautiful furs by the lakes edge. There was a picnic and so much food." Thank you so much Astrid, I had completely forgotten."

With that I hugged her then passionately kissed her. After all she is my girlfriend.

I based this on a pin that I saw on pintrest and I thought it was perfect for a one shot.
