Asriel's POV

We were eating dinner, my favorite, Snail Pie. I would of expected Frisk to throw up when they'd tasted it, and I was correct. They gagged a little bit and carefully slid their plate under the table for our adopted puppy, Toby, to eat it. Frisk excused themselves and went outside to walk Toby. It was just mom and I at the table now. Dad was outside watering the flowers and sometimes even over- watering the flowers, if that even is possible. I remembered myself being a flower. I hated it. Having no feelings whatsoever; I couldn't love, I couldn't hate, I couldn't feel. But now's different. (Oh, I'm sorry, I'm rambling again. Welp, back to the story.)

As I said, it was just my mom and I. She was at the kitchen table, making another batch of her famous Butterscotch-Cinnamon Pie, humming her favorite song, by Toby Fox. She turned around to look at me and smiled, a very mischievous smile, like a smile that someone does when they're going to do some trouble. I gulped, thinking, Oh no, what's with that look. Did Frisk tell on me..? I felt a small amount of sweat trickle down my neck. "So, how was your day," She asked and I felt a little bit of relief wash over me.

"It was great mom." I replied, not willing to tell her the details though.

"Did you meet anybody new? Someone you just, let's say, bumped into?" My mom asked and smirked, with a little of something at the edge of her voice.

Gosh darn it Frisk, what did you tell her, I thought. "No...." I lied; I felt my face get warm.

"I know that face Asriel; you're flushed, which means you're lying to me."

"No I'm not." I lied yet again and my face kept on getting warmer.

"Well, then I'll just ask your dad if he knows who it was.." Her voice trailed off as she looked to the door.

I can't let my mom tell Dad, that'll sound weird, he'll give me the "talk" about girls. Uggghh. "Okay, you got me.."

"Well, are you going to tell, mister, or what?"

"So...I did accidentally meet someone. A girl," I said while looking at the floor.

"And who's this girl?"

"Uh...nobody. The girl was nobody," I lied yet again, my response coming out very quick.

"Well, do you know what that 'nobody' looked like?"

"Well.." I paused. Of course I knew what she looked like. She was the cutest and prettiest girl I have ever seen in my life. With those (e/c) eyes and (h/c) (h/s) hair. She is like one of my dream girls... Oh, who am I kidding; I can't like a girl I just saw. What the heck man, why do you like her so much, you don't even know her, it's probably just the puberty thoughts, I thought to myself. "I kind of forgot how she looked like..." I lied yet again, trying to sound as truthful so my mom wouldn't expect that I'm lying. By the look on her face, though, I think she believed me and turned back around to finish her pies. "You better finish your pie now. It's already 15 minutes until your bedtime, mister. You have school tomorrow." She said, still focused on her pies.

"Okay, mom-zilla," I answered, getting a giggle in return, and gulped the remaining pieces of pie I had. Like a zombie, I trudged upstairs and into my room. Frisk was somehow already there, laying down on their bed and looking directly at me when I opened the door. Toby laid right next to them, snoring over their flower-looking and cellphone-looking toys. I flinched a little, somewhat startled by Frisk's glare. "So, what were you and mom talking about, huh?" Frisk grinned as they rubbed their hands together.
