Third Person's POV

"Again," Asriel demanded, sitting on the middle of the grass watching (Y/N) tries her best to summon her weapon again. Sweat was yet again trickling down her face as she shut her eyes tightly, the lights glowing faintly from it. This was the hundredth time she tried to summon her weapon, failing every time before. She panted, looking into her hand as the flames from her eyes disappeared again. Looking up, she trudged over to where Asriel was sitting. "Can we stop this, please." She begged, wiping the sweat off her forehead. "I'm getting tired..."

"We won't stop until you get the hang of this." He demanded, looking into her eyes with some sort of determined yet angry expression. "Chara might come back any second. You need to know how to defend yourself, and summoning your weapon is the first step in defense..."

"And by defending myself, you mean trying to get me to die of exhaustion." She sat herself down and summoned herself an (f/f) soda. If Azzy is going to work me all day, I better need more sugar, she thought, drinking the entire can within seconds. It took a while for the sugar to kick in and be transported through her blood. By the time it was done, she was jumping, her eyes beaming and her energy levels off the charts. She jumped all around Asriel, causing him to snicker a little bit before having his face become neutral yet again. She squeaked before taking a deep breath, trying to regain her composure. "S-Sorry for that crazy sugar rush." She chuckled, moving back to the red spot marked in the ground where she was supposed to stand. "Do I really have to do this?" She sighed, looking at Asriel one last time before focusing yet again.

"Do you want Chara to easily manipulate you." He retorted, scoffing as he picked up his book beside him and started to read, getting absorbed into the story. (Y/N) sighed again, breathing in and out slowly. Carefully, she thought on only one thing in her head. Fight. The flames started to glow from the corners of her eyes. Her body started to levitate on thin air and her untied hair slumped down around her shoulders. Her eyes grew brighter as she opened her eyes, seeing everything surrounding her with clarity. She could hear everything; there were cars honking in the distance, children laughing as they played tag. Her sense of touch was enhanced; she could feel the wind blowing around her. Her taste was indescribable; she could taste the Spider Cider and Doughnut miles away in Muffet's Bakery. And lastly was smell; she could smell the garbage in front of the neighbor's lawn, consisting of rotten eggs and banana peels. For any other human, the senses were overwhelming, but luckily, this was normal for (Y/N). She'd been experienced in this ever since that day in the park when she'd met the other monsters. Okay, now for the big finish, she smiled, holding out her hand as the scythe started to form, turning into a knife instead. She stared at it, seeing her reflection as sunlight reflected into her eyes. Why is it a knife, she asked herself, confused as she floated back onto the ground. "Asriel, did you see that?" She asked, looking up to find no one was sitting there anymore. "Asriel?" She called out again.

"Asriel, you better not be playing anymore." She called anxiously again. "This isn't funny!" Suddenly, someone tapped her on the shoulder, scaring the crap out of her. She spun around quickly, her knife poised up in front of her as she prepared to attack. She gasped slightly as she looked at her attacker. There stood Asriel, looking at her with wide eyes, an expression of fear immediately overcoming his face. He was visibly shaking, dropping the drink in his hands onto the ground, shattering the glass. "S-Sorry, I didn't mean to s-startle you." He stuttered, kneeling as he collected the shards of glass from the grass.

Immediately, (Y/N) had lost all her concentration, her heighten senses fading as well as her knife. "I'm s-so sorry. I almost hurt you..." She backed away, stumbling on a rock as she landed on the shards of glass. Her skirt was ripped as she tried to get herself up. She groaned as she lifted her hand, blood trickling down her wrist and arm. "Heh, no wonder they say glass is dangerous." She joked, groaning as she stood up, revealing the cuts along her leg. "I guess that's a bloody problem."
