Heh, sorry for updating this late. I was...busy. First of all, I wanted to experiment on another POV, and second of all, I kinda procrastinated. Heh...heh. Don't be angry ;-;
Also, as I said, picture requests are still open, and any ideas. Please tell it in the comments. (Also, sorry if this isn't as long as the others, please forgive me.) Also, chapter image is not drawn by me. Please check out the original artist, TC-96 on DeviantArt. This pic kinda fit the story perfectly for Toriel's POV, so...
Toriel's POV
The house was quite, even more than usual now that the kids were out. I could still see them from where I was standing, right out from the kitchen window. They were practicing their powers again; it was like I was staring at my own childhood, reliving the moments when I was a kid. I sighed happily, washing my hands underneath the warm, running water of the sink. I could remember my first time I met Asgore when I was about 9 years old. He was the heir of the throne at the time, being the only child, though he was only 10. We were on the surface still, before the war even happened, when everyone lived in peace...
I was outside in Waterfall, in my little secret underground place where I can be alone, hearing the echos from people long ago from the echo flower. The lights from the crystals were shining on my face. Humming my song into a nearby echo flower, I heard someone walking in the distance, talking to themselves angrily. I could just barely make out the words...
"Why won't it work?!" I heard them yell at themselves. Slowly, I crept from my spot to where I heard the mysterious person. Turning around the corner to the lantern room, I saw them. They looked like me, but as some sort of male version. He wore a blue-and-cyan striped turtleneck sweater, the end of his sleeves looked somewhat burnt. Tiny horns pointed out from his golden hair, looking very cute to me. The air smelt like something burnt, like popcorn or so. I hid my entire body behind the wall and watched from a distance. I saw his every move, staring with curiosity. He put his hands up in the air in defeat a few minutes later and sat on the ground. "Why won't this attack work?" He sighed. I shifted my legs since I was sitting for about an hour or so. The grass beneath me crunched suddenly, making Asgore turn in my direction. He was surprised that I was there, flinching a little bit at the sight of me. "Golly, hello there!" He said to me, rubbing the back of his neck. "Heh, I thought I was the only one to know this place..."
I walked up to him shyly, knowing that it would of been no use to back away now. There was no way to make him 'un-see' me."U-Um, hello." I stuttered, blushing a little bit.
"What's your name?"
"Toriel, and you?"
"What a nice name, Toriel. My name is Asgore."
I blushed at him complimenting me, and I quickly hid it behind my own purple sweater dress that my mom gave me. I could also see the tint of blush on his face as he walked over to me. "So, what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be up there?" He asked, tilting his head in a cute way.
"Oh, well...you see...um.." I tried to lie myself out of this, but nothing came to mind. I just stood there, having a gigantic brain fart. Nothing but gibberish came out of my mouth, making Asgore stare at me with a strange expression. My face started to get hot and I turned around to leave out of embarrassment. And, instead of watching me go, he grabbed my hand, preventing me from leaving. "U-Um, I...uh...." I stuttered, looking at where he grabbed me. His face was fully red now as he held his sweater to his face. "S-So, Toriel, do you happen to know fire magic?"
And, that's how we first met. I slowly grew a crush on him, and so did he to me. I sighed, thinking about the times before he became king, before he decided to kill all of the humans that fell down. I looked outside again, but this time, something was different. Instead of the usual monsters and Frisk practicing, (Y/N) was there too, levitating in the air. The clouds in the sky started to clear as she rose higher into the air. In her hands appeared a (f/c) scythe and she slashed it, breaking the sound barrier. It sent a shock wave towards the targets below her, the force powerful enough to reach me here, knocking me off balance. Was that really her? Did (Y/N) use magic?! I looked back up outside, only to find that the children were crowding around someone, (Y/N) perhaps. I couldn't find her in the crowd and I started to get worried. What if something bad happened to her? I ran outside to them, but, just as I went outside, Frisk came and dragged (Y/N)'s hand, Asriel following close behind. Frisk was beaming at me, her smile reaching both ends of their face. "Mom! Mom, did you see what (Y/N) just did?!" They blurted to me.
