Third Person's POV
Asriel sat in his chair, ignoring the monotonous tone of the teacher as well as his lover on the other side of him. He stared outside the window beside him, his thoughts slowly dragging him away from reality. He'd been acting like this ever since the day he'd reset. Of course he didn't tell anyone since he didn't want to sound like a wuss. That was not the real reason, definitely, but still. He sighed, staring at the rain drops that fell ever so gracefully from the dark, ominous clouds above. The drops though, despite the gloominess, still soothed him yet reminded him that this has already happened before. The clock ticked slowly like usual, yet he wasn't bothered at all. He just wanted this moment to last forever, knowing that it'll all just repeat: RESET, relive everything, RESET, relive everything again. It was all just a never-ending cycle of pain that would just repeat. "H-Hey, Asriel. You listening?" (Y/N) waved her hand in front of Asriel , snapping as much as she could. "Hey. Are you ignoring me?"
"Hmm?" Asriel turned his head to look at her, smiling tiredly. "Oh, I'm blind, heh. Sorry for not noticing. I spaced out again..."
"What's with you and spacing out?" (Y/N) turns back to the teacher. "You've been-"
"...weird this entire week, I know." Asriel interrupted her, finishing her sentence.
"H-How did you know I was going to say that?"
"Well, it's the fact that I know you all too well." Asriel teased her playfully, smirking. (Y/N) smiled back, punching his arm weakly as she immersed herself back in the teachers words. Asriel went back into staring at the window again, wincing at the fact that he still had told no one, even (Y/N). Little did she know what was really happening...
Class ended a few minutes afterward. The couple walked out, chatting like usual. Frisk, arms stretched around the both of them, hugged them tightly as they neared the exit. "You guys wanna go to the park to train?"
Already expecting the question, Asriel replied. "Not today. I feel like just going home."
"Aw come on, my goat-boy. It's not gonna be that embarrassing like the first time you met her." Frisk noogied him, looking over to (Y/N). "Help me out here, (Y/N)."
"Heh, I kinda wanted to go with him." She admitted. "It's been a long week, okay?"
"Fine by me you pair of lazybones. See you later!" Frisk ran off to their friends crowding up at the carpool loop. They yelled, resting their arm on Monster Kid's shoulder. Away they walked, leaving nobody else but them standing in the hallway. "You ready?" (Y/N) beamed, taking Asriel's hand in hers. He nodded, smiling at her ever so optimistic attitude of life. "Let's go! Don't want to be late for...um...whatever we're going to do."
"You probably have too much sugar in you, don't you?" He teased, running ahead of her, their hands still interlaced. "If so, I probably do too. Come on slowpoke!"
"H-Hey!" She laughed as she was pulled all the way to Asriel's home. The wind blew in her hair, kissing on her cheek. The leaves on the trees danced, being lifted off their branches. The whistle sounded beautiful in her ears, making her grin spread to each side of her face. As they ran down, her lungs screamed, not used to all of the exercise. She felt like she was about to pass out; nonetheless, though, she enjoyed outdoors, even if it meant running for no reason. When both of the lovers reached home, they panted, collapsing both at the same time on the couch. "W-We really are not in shape." She panted, laughing while coughing.
"That probably was a bad idea judging from last time." Asriel had said it with a slip of his tongue, not realizing that he'd never told her about the reset. And, of course, (Y/N)'s eyes widened in confusion, tilting her head.
