Chapter 5: Jade
Shane followed Lisa quickly.
"What?! My mom's dead?" I called up to them. Shane turned and nodded his head.
"YEAH!" (Now, I know this sounds and looks horrible, but you have to understand, yes my mom was chill, but she was abusive when she was drunk. Some of my older scars are from stitches she gave me. I was a little upset, don't get me wrong but... she was gone. And only Lisa, Shane, Racheal, J. C, and Cameron knew why I cheered the way I did.)
"What the hell Jade?" Leslie asked. She was leaning on Marcus.
"Wow. Um my mom use to abuse me. Some of the scars... I mean my scars are from her injuring me in a way that I needed stitches. I am upset she's gone. I mean she's my mom. But she can't hurt me." (And now they all know.)
"Oh." Leslie replied. "Anyway! Let's watch a movie! Frozen anyone?" We all cheered. We may or may not be Disney freaks. All of us can sing, (well the girls anyway,) but we belted out the songs in a loud, annoying voices. And the girls weren't the loudest.
"LET IT GO! LET IT GOOOOOO!!" The boys all screamed, we smacked each of them in the back trying not to collapse in laughter. The veins in Cameron's neck was popping out of his skin. I laughed and put my head on his shoulder.
"I'll be your Anna if you'll be Kristoff." I whispered in his ear. He kissed my forehead.
"But the ultimate question is... DO YOU WANNA BUILD A SNOWMAN!?" He screamed. Everyone laughed. After a brief laugh, I frowned.
"No." Cameron made his lips quiver. 'Why does he always do that?! He looks like a sad puppy. Ok don't like sad puppies. "Fine. I'll make a snowman." He beamed, his smile trying to jump off his face.
"YEAH! POPCORN!" And he dived for the bowl of popcorn.
