Chapter 20: Jade
I found Cameron in the hallway. He was listening to music, bopping his head back and forth. I ran over to him and lifted my arms up like a little girl waiting for her dad ot pick her up. He put his iPod in his pocket and picked me up. I snuggled my head into his shoulder. "I love you." I whispered.
"I love me too." He replied, smirking. I looked up at him and smacked a hand against his torso.
"Shut up!" I said. He threw my body over his shoulder and went down the stairs. He put my head back on his shoulder. And froze. He turned and ran up the stairs, screaming.
"EVERYONE IN THE GIRLS ROOM!" I turned my head to see what freaked him out. I saw a note and a gun holding it down.
"Babe who's it from!?" I asked, terrified. He looked at me, and shook his head. "Then put me down." He shook his head. I pounded my fist on his back. He kept walking, yelling the same thing. Marcus cake walking into the halls.
"I'm going to college!" He screamed, Cameron pushed him forward. He was still rambling on.
"So me and Leslie broke up. Cause I'll be gone for a long time."
"Cool, now go get everyone into the girls room." Cameron gave him one good shove and carried me into his room.
"WHAT THEE HELL IS GOING ON!?" I screamed at Cameron as he shut the door.
"He's here in the house. Derek's. He left the gun for us. To fight him" Cameron was pacing. My heart stopped.
"He's in the house! Wait, you told everyone to go to the girls room, but why are we in here?" Cameron turns to me, running his hand through his hair. He walked towards me, placed his hands on the bed I was sitting on and kissed me.
'I think I know why.'
