XII. Distortion

TRIGGER WARNING: BLOOD

I woke up naked in Joji's arms. He smiled when he saw that my eyes were open.

"Hello gorgeous... sleep well?" He asked in a groggy voice.

I hummed, nodding in delight. Joji stroked my cheek.

"Did you have fun?" He smirked, referring to our intense sexual endeavors from earlier.

"God, that wasn't just fun. That was like... Disney World!"

He snickered. "I'd say that was our best sex yet but I wouldn't compare it to Disney World..."

"I don't know how else to describe it!" I giggled.

Our conversation was interrupted by someone busting through the door.

"Yo George you wanna WOAH NAKED!!!" A familiar nasally voice yelled.

We covered each other with pillows.

"Ian!? Knock!!! Fuck!" Joji exclaimed.

He chuckled, shaking his head. "I just wanted to check up on you but it seems you've finally moved..." Ian diverted his gaze to me "...on? (Y/N)!? You're back!"

Ian's face lit up within seconds. He ran to me, hugging my naked body without a second thought.

I was confused for a moment, knowing that I saw him every other day, but then I remembered which dimension I was in.

"Ian! It's so good to see you..."

"How did you escape!?" Ian inquired.

I looked at Joji with a confused face. Ian changed the subject.

"Anyway, I came here to ask Joji if he wanted to head to Luna Park and ride some derby cars but since you're here too, you can come with us!"

Luna Park, more famously known as the amusement park located on Coney Island, had a recently built derby track just outside the park, bordering the parking lot. Joji knew it was one of my favorite rides there, so of course he couldn't object.

Ian waited in the living room while we got ready.

"You wanna shower together?" Joji smiled at me.

I smiled back, nodding and grabbing his hand to pull him toward the bathroom.

Since we were already naked, all we needed to do was turn on the water and wait for it to warm up.

I looked myself in the mirror like I usually did to see if there were any new spots or blemishes. None today. Joji came from behind and wrapped his arms around my chest, kissing my neck.

"Anything weird?" He hummed.

"Nope. Today's a lucky day."

Joji continued to hum, eyes closed as he nuzzled against me. Then, he opened his left eye, revealing it to be black and dripping. I froze in both fear and concern.

I wanted to turn and ask if he was okay, but in that moment, everything around us froze. It was like my body was lost but my mind was in tact. My surroundings began to bend and distort, but Joji remained the same. His voice, however, was distorted.

"D͎̱o͎̗̦̦̮͖̣͢n̼̕'̯͉͉̙ͅt͚̤̳̗̰̰͝ ̤͘l͖̳̪͙̩e̞͈̤a̶̻̮̗̬v̵̫̬͎̩e̢"

I wanted to reply, but I couldn't move, so I could only think.

I didn't want to... what are you doing to me?

His jaw clenched in reply to my thoughts.
