"A love song as a status...Someone seems to have fallen in loveee!"
He was literally tired of reading those messages. Yes, he was indeed feeling a bit more romantic today but he didn't need his friends to remind him of that constantly. After all, even he had the right to feel that emotion.
Even those messages would have been fine. But when his best friend messaged that, he was completely left aghast.
"You know I don't have a heart to fall in love." He replied with an angry emoji.
"Yeah I do, but somehow love seems to be polluting the air around you." She teased even more.
"And you're doing nothing to remove that pollution." He sent two more angry emojis.
She laughed out loud on the other side of the screen. Teasing him was always fun and when he was himself throwing a bait, then she'd be a fool not to catch it.
"Why should I? My heart ain't the one that hates love."
"Fine then, listen another song." He gave up posting yet another love song as his status.
He had the right to enjoy every emotion in this world, and if he was feeling romantic today, so be it. The world can go to hell.
As he shut his eyes and went into the night, he plugged the earphones in and listened to many more love songs.
