Jungkook walked down the street towards his home from tuitions when he saw Taehyung enter the convenience store.
He hadn't talked to the latter for a week now and that's because Taehyung always kept a distance from him.
He jogged into the store and took a quick scan.
He saw him approaching the counter with a dozen of cup noodles.
When Taehyung saw him, he immediately stopped walking and stared at Jungkook for a while. He had grown dark circles and he looked sickly.
"Taehyung is that all you've been eating?" Jungkook asked.
Taehyung chose not to reply and walked past Jungkook towards the counter.
"Taehyung I'm talking to you." He said again, tired of the cold shoulder he was getting.
Taehyung thanked the boy behind the counter and proceeded to head out.
Jungkook did the same. Once they were out, the younger caught hold of Taehyung's wrist and dragged him to a nearby restaurant. All the while Taehyung wiggled and yelled at Jungkook, but Jungkook just wouldn't listen.
Jungkook forced him to sit.
"Taehyung what are you doing to yourself?" He sighed and pushed the menu that was kept on the table towards the elder.
Taehyung pushed it right back and stood up.
"Dont concern yourself with me Jeon Jungkook"
Taehyung didnt know what he was doing. All he knew at that time was that he had hurt Hoseok badly and he didnt deserve to get what he wanted.
Jungkook, who was really angry now, slammed the palm of his hand on the table and stood up
"I wouldnt be doing this if you were not so dear to Chuji!" he shouted.
Taehyung looked at Jungkook in the eye.
"Then be happy, because she's broken all ties with me."
Jungkook stood there speechless but came back to his senses once Taehyung started walking out the restaurant.
* * *Taehyung slammed his door shut in anger as he stomped towards his room.
He fell flat onto his bed and pulled on the sheet as he started breathing heavily. This was something he did when he was angry.
He didnt want to call his parents nor his siblings who were in Daegu for comfort. He just lay there until his anger turned into a feeling of nothingness.
"Jeon Jungkook. Jeon Jungkook. Jeon Jungkook. Jeon Jungkook. I'm starting to hate that name"
After that hideous day at the cafe, Chuji had asked him if what she had thought was right.
Taehyung had no right to lie to her. I mean... Why would he? He had already messed up pretty bad, shouldn't he just tell the truth now? And let time heal him?
Well... Things didn't end nicely. Chuji's said that she couldn't believe him and would break off thier ties unless he gave up on Jungkook.
Taehyung was hurt but decided that if their friendship was so small, so minor to her that she could break it off just like that without a proper reason, then it wasn't worth it.
As far as getting over Jungkook was concerned... Time was passing by to slowly for Taehyung. Getting over Jungkook was hard.
