Movie Time!!!!

BAKI'S POV

As Ky stepped out the door and shut it behind her, we were all bubbling to go to the movies. We personally had no idea what we were seeing so I guess we were winging it!

'Hey!' we said in an unintentional unison.

'Hello.' Ky replies.

'Since when do you speak English?' Double asks her, jokingly.

'I spent ages last night learning. I only know a few words.' Ky says and I translate for her.

'Awesome!' Double smiles.

'What are we seeing?' Simon asks us as we leave Ky's driveway and walk down the street towards the cinema.

'No idea.' Bashur responds.

'BASH! You were supposed to check the movies!' Martin shouts at him before laughing slightly.

'I am a very busy melon you know. I have things to do other than checking movies!' Bash smiles.

'I guess we can #yolowing it!' Ghost says, shrugging slightly.

On the duration of the walk, we chatted and laughed a crap tonne. The sun was hot (go Baki!), the wind was cool and we didn't give a care about anything. It was perfect. The cinema was a newish model with a somewhat fancy and modern interior. As we pushed open the two black double doors, a waft of the sweet smell of popcorn and chocolate hit us. Allow me to give You a fancy description of what it looks like!

The walls were pained a royal red color with golden swirls painted ontop. The lights illuminated the entire reception room. The carpet was a simple beige rather than another red. There were comfy and plush looking chairs with tables off to the right, along with the must have arcade games off in a seperate section. We were definitely going on those. The ticket booth was at the front and behind it was the desk you can get treat to snack on during your film. Large Posters were stuck on the walls, advertising future releases and movies that were already out. Behind were large numbers, showing the number room you had to go to. Above the booth was a large electronic display board, showing the films, the times and the ratings of the films.

We looked at the names of the films suggesting films and then the others declining the movie choice. My eyes scroll down and see a film that would be perfect for us.

'What about Frozen?' I suggest.

Everybody exchanges glances before saying 'Yes!' rather loud, some people turned to us and gave us weird looks. But that was a daily thing. We got and paid for our tickets. Turning around, we stop when we see Veronica and her friends standing around. We try and walk away when she spots us.

'Oh God. What the hell are you doing here?' She asks, her friends following her.

'Watching a movie. What the hell do you expect?' Double spits to her.

'What are you watching freaks?'

'Frozen.' Bash says and the girls do their weird high pitched laughs.

'That's a child's film.' Veronica giggled.

'What are you watching?' I say.

'Probably that new horror movie.' She replied.

'Sorry. Didn't you hear? Little kids aren't allowed to go see it.' I smirk and Veronica and her friends looked hurt.

'Let's get out of here Verry.' One of her friends say and with that, they left.

'Let's go get some popcorn.' Martin says and we get three to share in pairs.

'I have actually seen some of the songs in it online.' Ky says as we show our tickets to the man who tells us which seats and room we are in.

'Disneyer?' I ask.

'kinda. I like Disney but I LOVE Studio Ghibli and anime. But Frozen is something I have seen snips of online.' Ky smiles as we attempt to find our correct seats in the dark room.

'Awesome sauce! You were literally destined to be friends with us. We all have got so much in common!' I laugh.

We shuffle along the correct row once we finally found it after walking up and the asles a milllion times. In the room there were families and some girlfriend and boyfriends as well. We were some of the oldest people in here, but see if we care. From right to left, it went me, Bashur, Double, Ghost, Ky, Bodil. The screen flickered to life and the annoying adverts began rolling, signalling the film was just beginning.

 

KY'S POV

The adverts rolled which we all talked through, I mean, why wouldn't you. Nobody likes adverts... When the familiar music of Disney began playing we quieted down and watched the movie, share popcorn with the person next to us. I was sharing with Bodil. I pushed my glasses up my nose and sat comfortably in the chair. This chair was one you don't want to leave. Wonder if they would be mad if I took it home with me. Probably.

As teh film passed, we ate the popcorn, shared silent jokes and enjoyed the movie. I was so glad that we were all friends. Resting my arm on the armrest, I sigh happily and watch the film. This is a song I know; 'Let it Go'. I hummed along in my head.

As teh song finsihed, I felt something rest on my arm, It was Bodil's. We both pulled away, smileing awkwardly and fidgiting slightly. We quickly pretended like nothing had happened. When teh film finished, it was now 4 something. I couldn't remember. 

'My God that film was awesome!' Simon smiled.

'It was well cool!' Baki said and we laughed at his awful joke.
