Chapter 15: The end

We tied the knot, in front of our families and friends. We exchanged vows, as to return the favor and honor to Tiffany and Warren. I invited them too, and just as happy as I am when I saw her walk down the aisles that day. She gave me her tightest hug along with her proud baby bump.

Danced with Lola Mel, Mom and my Mother In law. Butch is one happy bestman, to witness his bestman's wedding. And of course...to have this chance of marrying this beautiful woman who's already three weeks pregnant. Wala na akong mahihiling pa, in a few months. I'll be seeing my own blood and flesh, the fruit of our love and the life that me and wife will take good care of.

I am now one happy married man, who was once allergic to commitments. But found the right woman, who got me falling head over heels. My ex, my love. And now..my wife.

My new goal? Yes..still to have fun. Party everyday, well not literally a party. But more of just, being and feeling happy while savoring the moments I'll be spending with my love and my child.

That night...chapter 14

" Did you really meant to go that far with that guy?"

Tanong ko after another round of steamy hot love making with Margo.

" What did I do?"

Natawa na lang ako, she is trying to pretend not to know so she would feel less embarrassed.

" Your Dad will kill me this time."

" And why?"

" I made him a promise, na maghihintay ako. Hanggang sa maging ready ka na."

" Oh well, did I seemed to be not ready yet?"

Another laugh from me, then she went on top of me.

" Why did you came right after recieving Gabby's call earlier?"

" Why would I not? My ex, who happens to be my love is in danger. Any man would really take you."

" Seryuso?"

Tumango ako.

" And I can't imagine that."

I really can't, narinig ko pa lang boses ni Gabby na may pag-aalala. Tinakbo ko na ang kotse ko at nagpaharurot sa bar kung saan sila naroon.

" So, okay lang na lalaki ang maging indecent?"

" Hmm..ewan ko sa kanila basta ako. Sayong sayo lang, pangako."

And she gave me a kiss on that, then peacefully rested on my chest until she has fallen asleep. And I knew it, by that time. I made her feel the security she was asking me for back then.

Only true love can change a person, to either becoming a better man or the worst. To me, both happened. And I have no regrets, at least. I've learned my lessons, I've found the one I am looking for and finally..I was able to take the risk. Make her feel my love, and give her the security that no one will take her place in my heart. She was once mine, been my ex..and now she'll be the only one I'll be sharing my love with. Forever.

I've fallen for a man who doesn't know what love is, he broke my heart and left me shattering into bits and pieces. But, true love is strange. I've set him free, put him back to his normal life. Though it was a tough decision I made, but it paid us both well. He came back to me, and who am I to refuse when ever since. My love for him has never fade, nor it has change. It was just resting, and when fate brought us back together...ayon. Parang nagising lang sa mahimbing na pagtulog ang puso ko. My ex boyfriend, now became my present and my future.
