John imagine
Era: 1965

(Y/N: Your name; Y/E/C: Your eye color)

You and John have been married for 2 years, and have a 2 year old son named Julian. John has been off tour for a month already, and has been spending all the time he can with you and your son before touring starts again. You found out you were pregnant again a week ago, and you always liked the idea of Julian having a little brother or sister to play around with. Today you decided to tell John the news, but you were afraid how he would react. So while he was playing with Julian in the backyard, you got the courage to tell him.

"John," you say, " there's something important I need to tell you."
"Daddy. Up! Up," Julian says. You giggle a bit.
"Okay Jules, I'll pick you up. What do you want to tell me, Y/N," John says, while tickling his son.
"I don't know how to say this, but I'm pregnant again," you responded.
John sits your son down, runs up to you, picks you up, and spins you around.
Then, he kisses you and says, "This is amazin'! I can't wait to have another child. How do you think Jules will react, love?"
"Well, you'll have to wait nine months, babe. I think he might not like the idea of it at first, but he'll love it. I'm sure of it," you say, before kissing his cheek.
"I hope you're right," he added.

"Jules can you come here please. Your daddy and I have something very important to tell you," you say.
"Okay, mummy," Julian replied.

He runs up to you and hugs you and John. Then, you picked him up and kissed his cheek.
"Eww! Gross mummy! Please don't do that again," he said. You and John laughed.

"Julian," John said, "Your mummy and I have somethin' important to tell you."
"What is it daddy," your son asked his look-alike father. They were practically clones, but you could tell them apart since Julian has Y/E/C.
"Well, you're gonna be a big brother Julian. That's going to be a big responsibility sweetie," you tell him.
"Is it daddy," he asked.
"Yes it is son. Do you think you can handle it for your mummy, Jules," John said.
"I think so daddy," Julian says before drifting off to sleep in your arms.

"Look at that, love. He's asleep," John whispered before kissing Julian on his forehead.
"Why don't we put him to bed, and we can discuss baby names over some tea," you whisper back.
"That sounds perfect Y/N," John added.
You take Julian up to his room and tuck him into his bed. You kiss his forehead and whisper, "Sweet dreams my little Julian."
Then, you head downstairs to the living room, where John is waiting for you with tea already made, and his guitar beside him.
"Y/N," John said.
"Yes John," you say.
"Before we discuss baby names I want you to hear a song I wrote for you, love. It's called In My Life," he said.
Then, he picked up his guitar and started singing:
There are places I'll remember
All my life, though some have changed.
Some forever, not for better,
Some have gone and some remain.
All these places have their moments,
With lovers and friends I still can recall.
Some are dead and some are living,
In my life I've loved them all.
But of all these friends and lovers,
There is no one compares with you.
And these memories lose their meanings,
When I think of love as something new.
Though I know I'll never lose affection,
For people and things that went before.
I know I'll often stop and think about them,
In my life I love you more.
Though I know I'll never lose affection,
For people and things that went before.
I know I'll often stop and think about them,
In my life I love you more.
In my life I love you more.

Then he kissed your forehead and hugged you.
"I love you John," you say.
"I love all three of you so much. You know that, Y/N," John replied.
"I know, John. I'm so lucky to be married to a sweet, caring man, and to have an amazing son," you say.
"Ready to discuss baby names, love," he said.
"Yeah. Well, for a girl, I was thinking Juliet or Victoria, and for a boy, I was thinking James or David," you tell him.
"I love those names sweetie," he said.
After discussing baby names for your unborn child for an hour, you hear Julian wake up and run downstairs into your arms.
"Mummy! Mummy! How long was I asleep," Julian said.
"You were asleep for about an hour, Jules," you say.
"Oh! It felt like I was asleep for three whole years mummy," he said excitedly. You and John laughed.
"Jules," John said.
"Yes daddy," Julian said.
"Your mummy and I need your help with somethin'," John replied.
"You and mummy need my help with what daddy," Julian said.
"Your mummy and I need your help choosin' the name of your brother or sister," John said.
"Okay. Umm, Mummy," Julian said.
"Yes Jules," you say.
"What are the names for the baby," your son asks.
"Your sister is going to be named either Juliet or Victoria. Which name do you like sweetie," you ask him.
"Umm, I like Victoria if I'm having a sister, mummy," Julian replied.
"Then for a girl, the name will be Victoria," you say.
"What about a name if it's a boy, daddy," he asked.
"Well Jules, if it's a boy, he's going to be named either James or David," John answered.
"You mean you might name the baby after Uncle Paul," Julian says erupting in laughter, while you remember that Paul, John's bandmate, and friend's first name is James.
"No, it's just an idea of what we should name the baby, Jules," you say reassuring him.
"Oh, okay mummy. I like David for a boy, daddy," Julian tells John.

"Okay. So for a boy, the name is David. Then it's decided, Y/N. If we have a girl, she'll be named Victoria, and if we have a son, he'll be named David," John said.
"That's perfect, babe," you say, while John pulls you in for a short passionate kiss.
"Eww! Mummy! Daddy! That's gross," Julian said.
"You'll do it when you're older, son," John said.

"Mummy,"Julian asks.
"Yes Jules," you say.
"Is daddy right," he asked.
"Yes sweetie. He is," you say.
Then, you and John kiss Julian on the cheek.
The three of you spend the rest of the day playing in the backyard. Let's just say, nine months later, you brought little Victoria Juliet Lennon into the world. And you were right, Julian didn't like sharing attention at first, but got used to having a sister.

I hope that this wasn't bad.
Remember peace and love. -Abby.
