The next morning I got up really early to hear some arguing in the kitchen. I heard something about ... And then it hit me. Dad is telling mom about yesterday! What's going to happen now? I don't want my life to change if I'm still going to be living. I don't need anyone's help and nothing is going to change the way I feel anyways. I hate people! Why can't they forget about it and just let it go! I'm alive for god sake! They should just leave it there before it gets worse.
There was a knock on the door. Yep! People just love knocking on my door I guess. But this time I opened it to see little Emily.
"Why is mommy and daddy arguing?" Emily asked.
I shrugged. "Want me to do your hair though?" I asked changing the topic.
Emily nodded and ran to her room to retrieve her brush.

When she came back I told her to sit on my bed. When she did I grabbed the brush and started to brush out her hair. As soon as I was finished I put her hair into two braids.
"Thank you!" Emily said hopping off the bed when I was finished. She than ran to the door when she remembered exactly why she came to my room in the first place. "Hey, are you sure you don't know what their talking about?"
Same old Emily. She's such a pest. She may look cute and adorable and all but she is very very annoying! Why can't she stop being nosy all the time!
I shrugged once more not trying to make it a big deal.
"Are you sure?," repeated Emily giving me the same face dad always gives me that makes me nervous.
I got so nervous that I accidentally hollered, "Go away!" way to loud than it was suppose to be and I think my parents heard that too because it just became silent in the kitchen.
It was so quiet. Emily stared at me terrified. Can this girl just get out of my bedroom already! I mean like I'm not asking for her to do something too difficult.

I ignored everyone on the school bus including my ex boyfriend until he got curious on why I was sitting in the back alone not answering him when he called my name. What surprised me the most was when he called out to the bus driver to stop the bus just to sit next to me in the back. when he did that I just turned around from him and stared out the window.
"What's wrong?" Troy finally asked.
I shoved him to the edge. "Nothing just tired."
"Hey, I'm sorry," he said in a very low voice.
"About what?"
"You know. Our breakup? Isn't that why your upset?"
"No... I paused. Well, sort of."
Troy grabbed my hand, squeezed it, and than went to my ear and whispered, "but you know we're still friends."
I pushed him off the seat completely and put my legs up on the seat so he couldn't climb back up.
"Ooh, look he just got beaten by a girl!," laughed one of the boys on the bus.
Everyone looked at Troy on the floor and they all laughed the whole way down to the school.
