~NICK'S POV:~
Detective Hudson and I were upside down in the undercover cop car that we were in before the blast happened, we fought to kick the doors open to escape before anything could get any worse.
"I think I almost got it!" I grunted as I kicked my passenger door with both legs as an attempt to knock it open, I held my breath as the door fell outward and down onto the street.
I began to crawl out of the car just to see the horrendous sight and damage that the blast has caused. The smell of smoke made it's way around my nose as I looked up and down the street, police cars were flipped over and dented, people were hurt yet it was too soon to tell if anyone had been killed. I pulled my phone from my front pocket to see that I had a new text from Cora.
"Jesus fucking Christ." Detective Hudson grumbled from behind me, "How can one woman cause so much damage? This plan took a turn for the worst."
I looked up and turned around to face him, "No it didn't. Cora texted me an address for us to meet her there." I handed Detective Hudson my phone for him to read the text, "Alright." He confirmed, "I'll page all units to meet us there... this better not be some sort of trap, we need to be smart about this Nick."
"Already a step ahead of you, sir," I replied, "I think I might know how to get the sane part of Demi to come back. It might be a reach, but hopefully, it could work."
"You better try it. We don't need anyone else dying or getting hurt because of her."

~CORA'S POV:~
"Come on girls, keep it moving." The man with blue hair said as he shoved Maia and through doorway, we ended up stopping at this house that I've never seen before. When we were pushed out of the van I could tell that we were in some type of neighborhood but it was surrounded by a bunch of trees, so I'm guessing we're by the woods.
"Have you ever been here before?" Maia whispered.
I shook my head, "No."
A pair of hands hit my back again which caused me to stumble forward, "Shut up and keep going."
We stopped in the kitchen that was right across from the living room, my stomach did a flip when I saw that there were two men with guns, walking around the kitchen. Another person was sitting down at the table, they were dressed in all black from head to toe with a black mask covering their face just like the other men, yet I couldn't help but notice that this person was tied to the chair.
Suddenly I could hear another set of footsteps walking up behind me, they stopped as someone rested their hands onto Maia and I's shoulders.
"I told you that I would see you both again very soon."
The sound of Demi's voice caused chills to run down my spine, I looked over at Maia who's face looked pissed off and terrified at the same time.
"As long as you both follow my instructions everything will go down peacefully, I promise." Demi breathed, "Understand?"
I nodded my head slowly and surprisingly, Maia did too.
"Awesome!" Demi exclaimed as she pushed Maia and I towards the kitchen table, "Take a seat."
I sat down in the chair that was across from the person who was dressed in all black, I looked up at Maia who was still standing up trying to decide if she should sit or not, "Maia." I hissed, "Sit!"
Demi walked over towards the person that sat across from me and stood behind them, "I would listen to your bestie if I were you. Don't you want to speak to your little friend?" She spoke as she slapped her hands onto the top of the person's shoulders, they jumped immediately out of fear and began to squirm.
