~CORA'S POV:~

My alarm wouldn't stop beeping for me to get up and go to school, yet I couldn't reach over to turn it off. These past two months I've been telling everyone that I've been fine but after what happened yesterday it was obvious that I wasn't.

I laid on my bed, staring up at the ceiling as my alarm continued to beep obnoxiously. I wanted to try to go to school again but I knew that I couldn't and I hated myself for that. I feel like I let everyone down, especially Nick. I didn't want him to have to worry about me anymore, for once I wanted him to focus on himself.

"Cora!" Nick called out as he knocked from the other side of my room door, "Can I come in?"
I rolled over and slammed my hand down on my alarm to silence it, "Yes!"

Nick walked in and sat down at the edge of my bed, "So... no school today, am I right?"
I sighed, "Right. Please, no school. I'm sorry.."
"Hey bug, don't be sorry." He soothed, "I started looking into homeschooling once you went to bed last night, it'll be better off for the both of us."

"Why didn't you like me going to school?"
"Just an anxious feeling when you're not near me, I guess. After everything that has happened I want to be able to make sure you're protected at all times." Nick explained, "If that's alright with you."

I sat up and smiled, "It's alright with me. Just no bodyguards or anything that crazy... I think I might have just tried my best to jump into a normal routine again."
"That's understandable and I'm glad you said that about the bodyguards because I was actually thinking about that." He replied, "I'm going to be gone for most of the day at the studio, trying to finish up this damn album. Would you want to come with me or chill out here?"

"Can I stay here? I think I just need some space for today."
"Alright." Nick nodded, "I'll send my Mom over to come to check on you around lunch time then Maia can come over later if she'd like to, just let me know what's going on." He said as he stood up.

"Thank you, you're the best."
"I know I am." Nick playfully shoved me which caused me to fall back onto my pillow, "Bye bug, I'll see you later."

~WILMER'S POV:~

"The van is in the front!" Blue confirmed as he walked towards Demi with two other men following behind him.

I stood in front of the stairs waiting for directions on what to do next, I knew my place well enough to not ask questions or anything like that. We were all dressed up in black yet everyone had weapons except me. I watched Blue rush outside once again, a few moments later he came back inside with a weapon that I wasn't expecting.

"Yes! Yes! Yes!" I heard Demi squeal as she rushed down the hall towards Blue, "I've missed it so fucking much!" She beamed as Blue handed her a bazooka, "I'm going to save this for another time though" Demi placed the bazooka back into Blue's arms and watched him set it down into the living room.

"Here you go Wilmer, this one is yours." Demi extended her arm towards me, "You're going to need it." She said as I took the mask from her hand. It was a black mask with black eye holes and had no design over the mouth, I pulled it over my head without second-guessing and began to adjust it. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.

Through the holes, I could see that the rest of the men and Blue were putting the same type of masks over their faces also, "Perfect!" Demi observed, "Let's head out."

One of the men got in position to stand in front of Demi and the other man stood behind her, as they began to walk out of the house she held onto her black hat and kept her head down. I followed behind them and closed the door gently, I really had no idea what I was getting into but I had to go along with it.
