August and his then girlfriend Jalayah, were expecting their baby girl within a matter of days. August was so overwhelmed and couldn't wait to see the new life he has created.
He felt as though this new baby would change him for the better. Help him be a great man and wonderful husband to Jalayah.
He planned on proposing to Jalayah at the baby shower, which was a success. She said yes and ever since then they have been planning the wedding at a good age for their baby girl to be the flower girl.
He knew that it was going to be a hassle raising a child and even crazier because it was a little girl. He knew he would have to have his gun at hand length at all times.
Since Jalayah was beautiful his daughter would be just as beautiful. Boys would be going crazy trying to get a piece of his baby girl and he wasn't having it.
As he sat on the couch with Jalayah watching 'Johnson Family Vacation' he couldn't help but to think about names for their child.
"Dorothy?" He looked away from the tv to glimpse at Jalayah's reaction. She made a face and looked at him like 'really nigga'.
"No boy, that's an old ass lady name and that's definitely a fish name." She laughed.
He shook his head chuckling as well. "Well how bout Nikki?" He smiled because he loved Solange character in the movie.
"I am not naming our child after ya' character fantasy." He sucked his teeth in disbelief.
"Really bruh?"
"Yes Aug." He rolled his eyes and sunk into the couch, even more than he once was before. "Man whavteva."
"What about Madison? I fell in love with that name after I met a little girl in the park." Jalayah said pausing the movie.
"I mean yeah that's pretty but I want to name her something else."
"Like what August?" He shrugged. "I don't know, but not that."
"C'mon babe! That's not a bad name." She gentle pulled his arm. "I guess. What's her middle name?"
"Mm I dont know." August thought hard because he knew that Jalayah would want her to have a middle name. "Lanae?"
"Aww that's so pretty Madison Lanae Alsina." Jalayah cooed.
"Yeah it is, I bet the name fits her too." He smiled rubbing Jalayah's round belly.
"You like the name Madison?" He spoke to her belly.
The baby kicked, making them both look at each other and smile. "I think she loves it." Jalayah smiled with tears in her eyes.
"Aww baby don't cry." He began to wipe away her tears. "I'm sorry, I just cant wait till she gets here and the wedding. I'm so ready to spend the rest of my life with you."
"I cant wait either." He said kissing her lips. "I love you."
"I love you more."
