We pulled up to the club and got out of the car. Since we ain't that big up in these streets like Kev thought he was. We gotta wait in line like everybody else.

"Man I could've sworn I helped dat lil nig stack up on bills." Kevin shook his head leaning up against the wall.

"Yeah bruh I'm sho' ya did." I rolled my eyes even more ready to go home.

"Nah dead ass Yung, I thank he did, too." Motor mouth said. Little following ass, ain't nobody tell him to say shit.

"Yeah I bet." I huffed under my breath.

We finally paid and made it into the club. I guess it was kind of worth the wait because it is lit in here. I thought Kev would've brought me on some bullshit, but it's actually cool.

We made way to the bar giffy. "Yoo lemme getta shot of henny." Shawty nodded at me.

"Wassam luh! Say ya Lemme get ya numba." Kev said over the music.

She continued pouring up my shot. "I know ya hear me la' baybeh." Kev sat on one of the stools.

She kept ignoring him and gave me my shot. I threw that shit back like it was water.

"Aight lil bitch I aint wan' ya anyway." He spat. "Woadie chill." I tried to ease him back.

"Nah foolie she trynna diss a nigga, ya heard me." He looked shawty up and down.

"Ain't even allat." He walked away.

"My fault bout him, he a lil crazy." I apologized.

She nodded and giggled. "What's ya name, I don't really see ya round hea' too often."

"Yung." She nodded. "Ella." She said I nodded. "So like woadie, ya homie?"

"Nah he family."

"Oh ok." I nodded, not wanted for this conversation to drag on any longer I excused myself.

"Can I get ya numba?" She gently grabbed my arm. "I'm sorry ma I gotta lil lady." I said truthfully. "Oh ok." She let go and I walked away.

The spot began to pop off once bounce music started to play.

"'Em birds goon' crazy foo." Kev came next to me laughing. I chuckled.

One came up to me and shook a lil something. I was impressed, but not too much for my lil homie to get excited. She finished and walked away to another nigga.

"Woadie ya see how these broads be. Homie ta homie, pitiful." He shook his head. Yeah but if that's how they get they money, I aint dogging.

"Hey." Another came up to me. "Wassam." I did a lil head nod.

"Wanna dance?" I shrugged and grabbed onto her hips as she did her thing. "Yeah foo, getcha."

After the song ended the Dj announced that the special guest was here.

"Everybody give it up fo' 3D Na' Tee." When he said that the girls ran up to the stage, even lil shawty grinding onna nigga.

"Wassam N'awlins, Drop my shit D!"

She began to rap her song, My Dawg. She said she been repping N.O but I aint never heard a shawty. But I fucks with her lyrics.

"Aight Yung, we rey get up on outta hea'." Kev and new said. "Y'all gotta lift?" He nodded.

"Aight well be safe." I dapped them up.

They headed towards the door, shit I might ass well go to. Nigga invite me then leave, type of shit.

As I made my way outta the door, I heard somebody calling my name. I turned to see Ella coming my way. "Yeah?"

"Hea' it's my numba." She slid a paper in my hand. "Ya don't rememba' what I told ya?"

"I do, but the way ya was dancin' wit Leah shows me otha' wise." She raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah whateva." I held the paper in my hand. "Call me." She said switching away.

"Pst." I threw that shit right onna ground. Even if I didn't have a girl, I don't want her ass.

I hopped my ass in the car and spend down the street to Maw Maw house, I was expecting to be out longer, so Madison was gonna stay out there but I rather her come home.

After passing several gas stations and markets, I finally made it in front of her house.

I took my keys out of the ignition and  stepped outside of the car.

I knocked on the door. Maw opened it with her nightie on and her hair in pins and rollers.

"What are ya doin' at my house 2 inna mawnin' August Anthony Alsina Jr.?" She asked with her hand onna hip.

"Came ta get my baybeh dats all." I chuckled stepping inside. "She's knocked out. Don't go up dere wakin' ha up, jus sleep dahn hea or somethang." I nodded.

"Night baybeh I luh ya." She said walking up the steps slowly. "I luh ya, too."

I was thinking about doing the total opposite of what Maw said, but my baby is tired so I aint gonna bother her. Instead I'm just gonna go up there and sleep with her.

I walked up the stairs and found her in my old room, knocked out with her body twisted all up. Her arms and legs were spread out and her hair was all over her face.

I switched into an old tee shirt and some shorts from my old dresser. I slid in the bed next to her. I moved her hair out of her face, which caused her to shuffle.

"Daddy?" She opened her eyes.

"Hey princess." I smiled at her. She smiled back and snuggled her little body into my chest.

I patted her back and sang to her like every night. It's a song Maw used to sing to me to get me to go to sleep.

"Daddy will be hea' inna morning once ya wake." I kissed her forehead humming tunes.
