No sooner than you had packed your bags after your shift than you had been transported into the Enterprise. You slipped on your red dress, sighing and tossing your things into your assigned room. John Harrison, here we come.

"Attention crew of the Enterprise. As most of you know, Christopher Pike, former captain of this ship and our friend, is dead. The man who killed him has fled our system and is hiding on the Klingon homeworld, somewhere he believes we are unwilling to go. We are on our way there now. Per Admiral Marcus, it is essential that our presence go undetected. Tensions between the Federation and the Klingon Empire have been high. Any provocation could lead to an all-out war."

A long pause filled the air as you waited in your room for Kirk's continuation.

"I will personally lead a landing party to an abandoned city on the surface of Kronos where we will capture the fugitive, John Harrison, and return him to Earth so he can face judgement for his actions."
Kirk sighed.
"All right. Let's go get this son of a bitch. Kirk out."

James's voice boomed over the loudspeaker, and you frowned. Admiral Pike. Trying to lighten your own mood, you bet to yourself Kirk was loving being Captain again. You guessed you missed your chance to tease him about his demotion, but it saved both your time and Kirk's feelings for you not to do it. You adjusted the hem of your dress, tugging the edge of it down. Those things were revealing, and you had to pull them down more often than not when they were riding up.

You jogged out of your room, approaching the bridge quickly to meet with Kirk about the landing party. You walked quickly and saw Scotty, stopping and noticing un-shed tears in his eyes. You made eye contact with him, touching the side of his arm and frowning.

"Mr. Scott... What's wrong?" You asked, your eyes searching his face for answers.
He sighed.

"Lass... I've resigned, I 'ave. Those bloody photon torpedoes 'ave got me worried, and they didn't even let me see the specs. You make sure Jim does not fire those, you hear me?" He said grimly, pointing to you.

You were shocked.
"James... Accepted your resignation?"

"Aye. 'ee did."

You stepped forward hesitatingly, then hugged the man.

"I am so sorry-!"

"Lass, it's not you' fault-"

"Still!" You pulled away, frowning. You checked the time and winced.
"Shoot! I need to talk to James, like, right now. I'll call you! Bye!"

You rushed off without waiting for a reply back, running towards the bridge. You slammed into a figure and winced, shouting.

"HEY-"

"Calm down, Sunshine. You'll have to deal without me for a little while, I'm heading out." James chuckled.

You furrowed your brow.
"What? Where are you going?"

"To get Harrison. And no, you can't-"

"I want to go."

"As your Captain, I'm not going to allow you."

"I will give you a hell of a time if you don't let me." You snarled.

"__y/n__-!"

"I'm coming." You growled, crossing your arms. Kirk sighed, rubbing his forehead.

"Fine, it's no use arguing with you, you know a bit of Klingon, and you're decent at combat so I can trust you to not get too hurt. Suit up in non-suspecting clothes. I've got to speak to Spock and Uhura. Meet me in the shuttle bay in ten."
