Shades of Gray
ΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞ
I wish the world was black and white
But unfortunately we live in shades of Gray
More than 50, certainly
But it's difficult to see where morality falls on a spectrum
Quite simply, nothing is totally cut and dried
And for every law that seems just in one's eyes
In another place that law be changed for some to survive.

One side is hatred driven
The other side is hard to live in
Refusing to abandon the color of our skin....

Scientifically speaking we rise from the same kin
We really are the same, friends
Bleeding red as flame's kisses
Pull over the lever and see this thing skid
Quit bickering over something that doesn't exist,
Leave monuments alone it's history for our kids
To think we tear down the monuments that we fear
We fail to see why they are here
Listen closely and hear
Their to keep the past in the rear
And future clear.
Gun violence has dropped in the last thirty years,
Yeah their existence has doubled, on charts it appears
Logically speaking the thoughts in arrears
We're distracted and the road veers
Out of control
We fall in the hole
The same, as a whole
A nation of blending cultures

With this let's create something beautiful
And slay the vultures.
