Thunderous sound
Resonates
Through
Every fiber
Of your being.
Shaking the
Core of your soul.
But your faith
Never ever wavers.
Still you blindly
Stand
Side by side.

No rhyme
Nor reason.
Do you
Could you
Ever think clearly?
Or is your
Hazy mind
Just that
Hazy?
Oblivious
To your surroundings.
Numb
To the feelings
Deep within.
You ask yourself
When was the last time
You let yourself
Ever feel anything
The fog
That holds
Your brain hostage
Refusing to let go
Smothering
Every thought.
A living walking corpse
You are
Could you
Trust open your eyes
See
Dear child
Dear man
Dear woman
Dear fellow friend
How oblivious
You have been
To the pain
You have caused to everyone
Around you.
Oh
How desperately
You are in
So much need of self care
Again and again
You refuse
Promising it
Will be the last time
It's just temporary
Should I
Even count
How many times
You have uttered those words
I dare not to.
Please
Just open your numb mind
See the world around you
The pain you have caused
Let yourself feel again
It's not your fault
But you must
See to it that you
Get the help you need.
